Chapter ~58~

I wake up the next morning in my bed. The guys gone. I stand up redo my makeup and my hair. I put on black shorts and a red top. I put on my hightop black Nike's. I take a deep breath. I grab my backpack and my Phone and walk out. I lock my house behind me. As Daniel walks out of his. We walk into the car. "Are you going to the dance tonight?" I say to him. "I don't know" he says. "I'll be your date. Plus whose the one who asked me first when I didn't want to go" I say to him. "Fine fine I'll go" he says. I smile at him. I start the car and we make our way to the school. I pull in with Daniel as I get out and everyone is surrounding my locker and looking at me. I make my way to my locker slowly and see a picture of Caleb and Susan. He got susan. I rip it up and throw it in the trash as I start crying.

I see the guys and the girls walk my way as I cover my face and my eyes. Trying to catch my breath. I feel my heart beat quicken. I drop my back pack holding my chest and slide down the lockers holding my knees as the guys start running my way and the girls. I let out a sob. Tommy kneels in front of me. "What have I done" I whisper. "What do you mean" jimmy asks. I turn and look at them and at the girls. "Caleb got susan last night. Took a picture I showed up just right now and it was taped on my locker. Everyone surrounded it I grabbed it and ripped it up and threw it in the trash. I- he got Barbra,Susan and me it won't be long till he gets ali to" I say grossed out.

I look up at the sky. I try to take a deep breath but I struggle as I hear tommy call my name I look down at him. "In..and out.."he says. I take a deep breath in and blow it out. A few times. I see a black convertible pull in. As fear kicks in. I stand up wiping my tears. Thank god my makeup is water proof. I open up my back pack and grab my blade. "What are you gonna do with that" Johnny says. "Don't worry about. I ain't gonna hurt no one and if they hurt me I gotta hurt him" I say. I walk to the black convertible. Caleb walks out followed by Jason. I take a deep breath as I near him. "Why would you do it" I say to him. He walks up to me grabbing my waist and pushing my against the car. "I told you to stay away from them lydia" he says. "I can't" I say to him. "But you will" he says again. A tear slides down as I look down. "I can't. Especially not when I'm in love with one of them" I say to him. "Not that you would know. You don't love anyone" I say to him.

"Look I'm sorry. I'm in love with you everything I do is for you" he says. "Your a lier. Just leave me alone please I'm begging you" I say to him. "Can't do that" he says. I push him off of me. He walks back into the car. I grab a rock and throw it at his window before he turns the corner. He speeds off. I wipe the tears. Walking back to the guys as tommy instantly wraps his arms around me. "I'd do anything to take it all back" I say to susan. "I'm sorry" I says again as I give her a hug. "Don't worry about it. Half of me wishes it was you but it's all good" she says. I look at her and slap her. "Lydia!" Johnny yells. "Fuck off" I say annoyed.

I grab my backpack. I walk off to the gym. I see the snack and everything that needs to be put together. I grab the chips and pretzels and put them in bowls. I put the soda out and the candy. I put the cupcakes out and the strawberry's. I set it up as a tear escapes my eye. I ignore it. I grab the big punch bowl. I open my back pack grab a cigarette and light it. I notice it's just me here as I start to sing a song that I'll be singing tonight. I hum the beat as I hear a voice behind me. "Didn't know you can sing". I turn around and it's chase. "Yeah. I surprise a lot of people" I say turning back around and taking a puff.

"You know when you like someone but you don't wanna hurt everyone else that likes you" I whisper to chase. He looks at me. "Yeah I've been there" he says. "I like my best-friend but I also feel like I like my other best friends like me including my ex boyfriend" I say. I take another puff. "I like what you did to the gym" he says. "No I barley helped all my friends did it themselves" I say giggling. "Really cause the balloons look like you did it" he says. "I did the balloons and set up the snacks. "Everyone else did everything else" I say giggling. "Your gorgeous" he says. I look at him. "Thanks" I say as I turn back around. "You shouldn't smoke. It's not good for you" he says. "I know but it's the only thing keeping me calm these days" I say. "What happen there" he says pointing to my wrist. I look down and see my scar.

"I happened" I whisper. "You should get to class" I say to him. "Yeah I'll see you around" he says walking out.
