Chapter ~5~

"What now" I say already regretting the question. "Go on a date with me" he says. "What no" I say to him. "Johnny isn't gonna like that" I say to him. "Please lydia" He says. "No" I say again. "Please" he says. "Please please please please" he says. "fine!" I say. "Thank you!" He says and runs off. I turn and bang my head against my locker. "Look I'm sorry" I hear Daniel say. I look at him. "I shouldn't have done that" he says. "Dan-" I say but get cut off by him still rambling. "I didn't mean it I'm sorry" he says. "Look Dan-" I say. "I shouldn't have been putting my nose in your business" he says. "Daniel!" I say getting his attention this time. "It's alright" I say laughing.

He smiles at me. "Let's go play soccer" he says grabbing my hand and running to the field. He kicks the soccer ball to me. I kick back. I make it in the goal where he's at. "Haha" I say to him. "Your such a kid" he says. I smile at him. "Hey care if we join" I hear Dutch say. I turn and look at him. "We could use more players" I say to him. Johnny, Dutch and tommy on my side. Bobby,jimmy on Daniels. I kick the ball and make it again into Daniels goal. Johnny twirls me in the air. "Not fair!" jimmy yells. "Oh it's fair" I say to him.

Daniels kicks the ball to Dutch as I run to the other side of the field. "Dutch!" I say as he looks my way and kicks the ball to me. I kick the ball into the goal. "Yes!" I say running into to Dutch's arms. "Hah and that's game!" I say to Daniel. I feel my phone ring and I look at it. I ignore it and put it back in my pocket. I feel eyes on me and I look up it's Johnny. I smile at him. I see ali talking to Daniel. I walk up to them. "Hey Ali can I talk to you" I say to her. She looks at me and smiles. "Yeah sure" she says back.

We walk away towards the lunch tables. "Can you do me a favor" I say to her. She looks at me. "Sure I guess" she says. "Hey is everything alright" she asks again. "Everything good but can you treat Daniel with respect and love him and care for him. If you guys ever date please love and care for him. He deserves the world" I say to her. "Of course. Hey look I'm sorry about everything" she says to me. "It's alright. I'm sorry about your face" I say to her. She smiles at me. "You are really pretty" I say again. "Now go get your mans. I'll go get mine" I say to her.

She gives me a hug before she walks away and towards Daniel. I smile at them. I take a deep breath. I walk back towards the group. "You gave In" Dutch says. I look at him. "For Daniels sake only" I say to them. "He's happy" i say turning and look at Daniels big smile on his face. "And what about your happiness?"Johnny ask's me. I look at him. "I'm still figuring that out"i say. "Hey lydia about that date tonight" tommy says. "Tonight. You didn't say tonight" I say to him. "Anyway go ahead" i say to him. "Gulf N' stuff. I'll meet you there at 7:00" he says. "Sounds grate" I say to him. I turn back to Johnny.

I walk towards him and grab his hand. "Cmon" I say to him. We walk to my locker. "Your going on a date with tommy?" He says to me. "Yeah but look it's not how you think it is. It's not what you think it is either" I say him. "I know but still" he says. I type in my combo and open my locker. I grab my backpack. "Cmon Let's go to English" I say to him. We start walking to English class together. Enjoying one another's company. "Do you have karate practice after school" I say to him. He looks at me. "Not today. Why?" He asks me. "Come over to my house for a little bit" I say to him. He smiles at me.

We walk into English class and sit down on one of the empty tables. "Your still gonna go on a date with tommy" he says "yeah. Is that a Problem?" I ask him. "Yeah it is!" He says. "It's tommy" he says again. "Yeah and your Johnny" I say to him. He looks at me. "What that supposed to mean!" He yells at me. "Your an asshole and he's not!" I yell at him. "Never mind I thought we were getting along and I invited you to my house for a little bit forget it" I say to him. I scoot away from him. "Who's taking you to the dance next week" he asks me. I look at him. "Daniel" I say again.

"Seriously!" He says. "Yes" I say letting out a laugh. Every other student walks in and takes their seats. The teacher walks in and class begins to start. I stare at the ceiling. After me being stuck In My thoughts I hear my name being called. "Lydia! Cmon class is over" I hear Johnny say. I grab my back pack. I open my front pocket grab my keys and shut my back pack. I see Daniel and the guys. "You ready to go home" I say to him. "Yeah" he says to me. "I'll see you later tonight and I'll see the rest of you tomorrow" I say to them and walk away towards my car. "Hey I took my bike today but im riding with you but where do I put it" Daniel says.
