Your POV

You've been waiting 2 whole years for your parents to return, and in the meantime you've been keeping your promise. Things have gotten really boring and lonely ever since Canary was hired by another family last year, but you still found ways to keep yourself busy. You've been training regularly in martial arts while practicing your baking and cooking with the butlers. After two years of training your usual three hours a day, you were skilled enough to wield every weapon of your dad's collection masterfully and were able to beat every single butler in your household in sparring in under thirty seconds. Mind you they were all trained to the teeth for combat since they were born.

One day in the middle of training outside in the field with yet another butler...

"I GIVE UP!!!" Yelled the butler, whom you had pinned, face down on the ground. You held his right arm behind the top part of his back so that his wrist was in between his shoulder blades. You were kneeling beside him checking your watch. "Wow, 13 seconds! That's a new personal best! Thanks for training with me, Brad! You can take the rest of the day off!" You said cheerfully and you released your hold on him.

"T-thank you master." Brad said, clearly in pain.

"I'm so sorry! I got too violent again didn't I..." You say worriedly as you grab Brad's wrist to check for injuries. "I'm fine, no injuries." He was telling the truth - you could tell, plus his wrist did seem fine, "I'm just surprised at how quickly you improved Master!"

"Thank yo-" You begin to say before someone interrupted.

"MASTER Y/N!!! ITS URGENT!" Another butler said while handing you a letter. You opened it immediately only to read:

'My condolences, Miss Y/N L/N. It's to my great sorrow that I must inform you of some horrific events that have transpired. On March 16 this year, Mr and Mrs. L/N's bodies have been found in an alleyway of Yorkshin City. It has come to my understanding that they had been searching for the Phantom Troupe and had not succeeded. I'm very deeply sorry for your loss. Please come as soon as possible to verify the corpses.

Sincerly,

The Head of The Police Association

You reread the letter in disbelief. Surely they miss-sent the letter, or miss-spelled the names. You reread letter 30times before the words finally sunk in. Grief stricken you faint on the spot and were out like a light before you hit the ground, so all you felt was your heart get heavier and drop as tears rolled down your cheeks.

For weeks on end you haven't left your room, not turned on any lights. You didn't think you deserved to feel the warms of the light or of others when your parents couldn't feel warmth at all anymore. The only time you had left your bed was to attend you parents funeral, and even there you avoided the others. If only I had run faster and stopped them from going, they'd still.... You closed your eyes and cried, suddenly their cold, lifeless corpses came to mind and your eyes shot open immediately. Those visions were also the reason you didn't sleep much. You lifted your left hand over your face to block out the suns rays which had passed through your black curtains, just barely. the rays caught onto your mothers ring, making it gleam and you realized. 'MOM AND DAD WOULD BE SO MAD IF SHE SAW ME ACTING LIKE THIS! I need to collect myself and move on with life!'

You exited your room and did your usual routine.

After that you packed your stuff and prepared to leave. You couldn't stay in a house filled with everything to do with your parents, other than them...and expect to move on. No, you had to go. You said this to yourself as you packed your bags.

You packed:

-a Bow and Arrow

-Your Dual Dao swords

-Your ben's knife

-Your pocket gun

-All your herbs, remedies and medecines

-some books/extra stuff

-clothes

-and 850 million jenny worth of savings.

-Candy/snacks

You were ready. You ran out of the mansion waving good bye to the butlers. They tried to stop you but you explained how you couldn't let go and move on if you didn't leave for a while, but you had promised to come back. They trusted you and let you go, for you never broke your promises, no matter what. You didn't want anyone else to feel the disappointment you felt when a promise wasn't kept.
