~Getting Back Killua: Part 2~

        

        Your P.O.V

        Mr. Zebro took us outside to the gate to try and open it, but none of us came close except for Leorio. He got it to shift a bit, but not much. 

        "Why the hell are they so heavy?" Leorio yells in frustration. 

        "This is the testing gate," Mr Zebro says in the process of taking of his suit jacket, "anyone incapable of opening the gate isn't worthy of entering the Zodyck estate."

        Mr. Zebro now only in his suit pants and undershirt, showing off unexpected muscles, places both palms against the stone gates.  He begins to push and ever so slightly the first set of doors begin to move. He is able to open them just enough for people to slip in, but as soon as he lets go, the doors automatically close once more. We all stare at him wide eyed. 

        "It's getting harder and harder to open by the year." He says as he puts his suit top back on. 

        "How heavy are the gates, really?" You ask. 

        "The smallest gates are 2 tons each. As you go further up in the gate number, the weight multiplies by 2 each time. Master Killua, when he returned, opened up to the 3rd gate with ease."

        "The 3rd gate?!" Gon shouts, "That would be 12 tons!"

        "16 tons actually..." Kurapika says followed by you giggling.

        "That's still a lot!" Gon exclaims. 

        "Mr. Zebro, do you think you can open the gate for us so that we can get Killua back?" You ask with a little hope, however you had a feeling you knew already what he was going to say. 

        "I'm sorry, but the testing gate is only the beginning to the trials you will face on this mountain. If you can't open the gate, then what chance do you have to make it the rest of the way? You are Master Killua's friends correct? I don't want to be responsible for the deaths of Master Killua's friends."

        "Well we're not leaving without Killua and if you're not going to help us with the gate, we'll have to find another way over."Gon says. We all take a few minutes to think of a way over, but Gon is the first to act. He takes out his fishing rod. He steps back and shoot the line high enough so that it hook onto the top of the gates. He then starts to climb vertically up the gates. When he is nearing the top Mr. Zebro stops him. 

        "Gon please don't be rash! Even if you do get over how would you deal with Mike?!" 

        Gon remains quiet and still. "He's right Gon, don't be too hasty, we'll think of another way!" You shout not wanting Gon to become like those men earlier. Gon reluctantly comes down and stands in front of you. You give him a tight reassuring hug, knowing how worried he was about his best friend. 

        "Gon would you like to see Mike?" Mr. Zebro says.
