~The Awkward Reunion~

Killua's POV:

You enter the tunnel which apparently is supposed to be the exam site. You look around at the other contestants who are also looking at you. Their glares are meant to scare you away, but you just shrug them off and head over to part of the tunnel wall to just relax. 'By the looks of the other applicants, this is going to be boring,' you think to yourself.

"You're number is 99" a small, green bean looking creature told you, "Don't lose it." He said as he handed you a round pin saying 99.

You pin it onto your shirt and get up to look around. You get approached by a fat, old looking man wearing a blue jumpsuit. "Hi you must be new, I'm Tonpa! If you have any questions, feel free to ask me! It's my 35th time taking the exam, I'm kind of a veteran!" He said smiling.

"Idiot. That's not something to be proud of old man." You say as you begin to walk away from him.

"Wait!" Tonpa calls running after you. "Let me at least give you a drink as a welcoming gift." He said to you with clear annoyance and insincerity.

"Gee thanks!" You say with a fake happy tone as you take the orange juice can he had extended towards you. When you popped open the can and brought it to your lips, you could instantly smell the poison, which you expected, but you chugged down the drink anyways. Tonpa stared at you with a malicious smirk on his face, which you pretended not to notice. "Ahh... that hit the spot! Thanks Tonpa! See you around" You say as you walked away. He stared at you dumbfounded, clearly confused as to why you were unaffected by the poison.

After a few hours, you had come to the conclusion that you...WERE BEYOND BORED! All the other applicants seemed really old and none really looked around your age. 'Mann the Hunter Exam's gonna be boring', you think to yourself. But this thought went away as you saw 3 more applicants come out from the elevator. There was a man in a blue suit, who appeared to be in his 30's, a blonde in some special tribe clothing and a boy with spiky greenish black hair, wearing a green outfit. You start to walk towards them when all of a sudden someone else emerges from the elevator. 'No way... She's taking the exam this year too!' You think excitedly as you see the girl from long ago, that you met on one of your missions. She was the girl you teased and got choco robots and a birthday cake from. She was also the girl you gave your first kiss too. She looked as amazing as ever. You could tell her hair had grown a bit since the last time you'd seen her, even though it was in a bun. She looked more mature and definitely more beautiful.

You began to walk over to her, thinking about what you were gonna say. "Hey, miss me?" 'No.. what if she doesn't even remember me, I didn't visit her like I promised to either,' you think, making you stop in your tracks. 'What if she hates me now? I broke my promise with her, I never visited once in the past few months, of course she hated you.' You stare up in her direction and notice her walk off with the blonde guy. 'Who the hell is he?!' You think. As you quickly follow after them.

You keep your distance because you know she'd be able to sense you if you got too close. You watched them from a few meters away, hidden inside a crowd of the other applicants. They were just talking, but you couldn't make out what they were saying. Ughh why do they have to talk so quietly?! Why are they even alone together?! You think. Suddenly, she starts crying into the blonde's chest... Ughh.... You looked away at that part. After a while you couldn't take it anymore. You walk up to them, glaring daggers at the blonde hugging her and say,

"Yo, who's the blonde?"

Your POV:

"Killua?!" You say shocked as you turned around to meet him. "H-how long had you been there?"
