Split String of Fate:(Killua x Reader x Kurapika)

Your POV:

You were sleeping on a really comfy pillow and you were dreaming about something horrible.

There you were, deep in a forest watching a gruesome scene unfold in front of you. The village was being raided and hundreds of defenseless villagers were crying. 13 silhouettes begin to emerge from the burning houses. When the smoke clears and your eyes focus on them, you recognize them to be the Phantom troupe.

"Stop!" Yelled a man, whom you recognized to be your father. A woman ran behind him holding her weapons ready to fight.

"MOM, DAD!" You shout, but no one hears you. You parents begin to attack the troupe, but are quickly killed.

"NO! MOM! DAD!" You say as you rush to their side. You begin to sob and you hug their bodies as their body heats begin to fade When their hands turn cold, you turn to glare at the troup. "How could you!" You shout to deaf ears. It seems no one knows you're there. The troupe walks right past you and approaches the poor villagers. The head of the troupe picks up a young brunette by his throat.

"NO! Pairo!" You shout as you run to tackle the man. Your form passes right through him. You turn around only to see his hand closing in on Pairo's face. "NO!" You shout as you charge at him once more.

The last thing you hear was the horrible, piercing scream of your dear childhood friend, before you wake up.

"Y/n! Are you alright?" Asked a concerned voice. You woke up to see Kurapika's face leaning over you. Kurapika had noticed your restlessness and went to check on you. You touch your head, only to feel beads of sweat trailing down it. Your were still breathing fast and your heart was still racing. "Did you have a nightmare?" He asks. You quickly get up to hug him.

"I'm so sorry about your loss Kurapika!" You sob into his shirt as you recall your dream. It was images of his clan being massacred that flashed through your mind. You now completely understood his endless rage. Kurapika was shocked by your sudden outburst, but warmly hugged you back.

"Thank you. I'm sorry for yours too." He said.

You leaned back to look him in the eyes. You eyes were blurry and filled with tears. The only thing you saw right now was the scene of Pairo's eyes being taken by the head of the phantom troupe. "I dreamed about Pairo, and his eyes. Oh Kurapika! I dreamed about them taking his eyes!" You bawled. He pulled you into another warm hug and patted your back.

"It's alright, the nightmare's over now." He whispered calmly into your ear. Sure he was angry and sad that these images were haunting you, but someone had to stay calm right now.

"M-my parents were there too..." You say quietly.

"Why were they there?" He says in a calm but concerned voice.

"They were trying to fight the troupe." You begin, "If only then I had stopped them from going or if I was strong enough, I could've helped them. They wouldn't have died! If only I'd known what would happen." You start bawling again, remembering their backs facing you as they got in the car that day, on their way to fight the Phantom Troupe. Kurapika takes his hand and gently caresses your left cheek and wipes away your tears.

"You didn't know, that's the thing. It's impossible to know." Kurapika said softly, "And even if you did know the future, even if you tried to stop them, I'm sure your parents still would've gone. And you were too young to go with them."

"Too young and too useless." You spit.

"Too young and too precious to them." Kurapika say wiping away your last tear, "Do you really think, even if you had all the power in the world, would take you, their 5yr old only precious daughter with them to fight the spiders?" You stay silent for a moment. 'He's right' You think, 'My parents would never put me in that kind of danger, heck they wouldn't let me use the scissors without their supervision.'

"I-" You start, then sigh in defeat, "I guess not..." you hang your head a bit more, but Kurapika gently tilts your chin up and looks you directly in the eyes.

"And if they did let you, if you had died, we never would've met again." He chuckles, "What would've I done then?" You blush a bit and look away. 'How is it he always knew what to say?' you notice how dark the room is, but are soon after turned to face the blonde teen again. "Things turned out this way for a reason. You got to grow up, and learn so much. You got to meet Gon, Killua and Leorio. We got to see each other again." You notice him blush a bit and look down. "I'm sorry you had to lose your parents in the process, but I'm sure they are happier knowing that you are alive and living a good life."

All of the sadness is washed away instantly and is replaced with overflowing happiness. Kurapika was right, you wouldn't have met all the people you did, you wouldn't have had the experiences you did if you went with your parents. If you had died, it would've been a waste and you would've missed out on so much. You pull Kurapika into a big hug.

"Thank you." You whisper, quiet enough so that only he can hear.

"You're welcome." He whispers back, wrapping his arms around you.

You stay in Kurapika's strong but warm embrace for a while. You don't know how many minutes pass but eventually you break apart.

"What time is it?" You ask noticing the others still sleeping and the darkness of the room.

"About 2am. We should get to sleep." He says.

"I'm sorry for waking you up."

"Don't be, I'm happy I did." He is about to stand up and go back to where he was sleeping, but to stop him.

"Is it okay if you stay here?" You figure you won't have the nightmare again if yo know Kurapika is there.

"Sure." You smile and lay your head on his shoulder. He leans his head down to rest on your head and you both blush. After a few minutes you fall asleep with a smile on your face.

Man it's so hard getting ideas for some romance with Kurapika. It's so much easier with Killua because he's forward and flirty, when Kurapika is shy and conservative. :(

If you guys have any ideas for romance with Kurapika, that'd be great! :D
