Split String of Fate:(Killua x Reader x Kurapika)

~50 hours: May the best man win~

*A little while back*

        Kurapika's P.O.V: 

        You and Killua were alone washing the dishes while Leorio and Gon cleaned the table. The atmosphere between you two was tense and awkward. Neither of you spoke until... 

        "Kurapika, what do you think of Y/n?" Killua asks out of the blue. 

        "W-what do you mean?" You say startled

        "Don't play stupid, you know what I mean." Killua says in the usual cool tone. You sigh and decide, 'Might as well be honest, he'll know if you're lying.'

        "I like her." You say quietly so that only Killua can hear. "I have for a while now, and I plan to tell her how I feel soon." 

        "I see." 

        "And you?" 

        "Me?" 

        "Yes, I told you, now it's your turn." 

        Killua sighs and drys off his hands. He then leans back onto the counter and stuffs his hands into his pockets. "The same for me. I plan to tell her, but next time I won't screw up." There was a moment of silence between you two, you remember his "almost confession" not long ago. You didn't speak, both of you were anticipating the other's next move.

        "Killua," You begin, "I'm sorry, but even though we're friends I can't just give up on her."

        "I know," He says in an unreadable tone. "Me either."

        "I guess it'll be, may the best man win." You say in a serious voice. 

        "I guess it is." 

        "And I plan to." You both say in unison and smile at each other.

        'Y/n is the only one able to calm you down. She's the only one who understands, the only one you love. You were going to make her yours no matter what, because you love her.'

        Killua's P.O.V: 

        'Y/n meant way too much to you to just let her fall for the blonde. You were going to win her over no matter what it takes, because you love her.'

        You both leave the kitchen and head into the living room. Your eyes immediately shift to y/n then to the chocolate in her hands. You dash to her side and lean in close to her.

        "What to you want Killua..." She sighs. 

        "You wanna share?" You say. 

        "Sure!" She gets up, "Hey Gon you want some chocolate?" 

        "Yes please!" Gon cheered. She hands Gon a few and went back to plop down beside you. You shoot death glares at Gon as he pops the chocolate into his mouth. 'Why does she always do this to me?'

        "I meant share with me." You pout. 

        "Well next time make that clear." She hands you some chocolates and you scarf them down quickly. "Killua?" 

        "What?" You say licking your fingers of all the chocolate. 

        "About earlier...Was that really what you were meaning to tell me?" She asks in a hushed tone, so no one else in the room can eavesdrop. 

        "Not really." You were hoping she could forget earlier, and pretend it never happened, but you were expecting someone to ask eventually.

        "Then..." She says staring at you intently. You don't answer, making her grow impatient, "Come on Killua, just spit it out!" 

        You sigh, knowing she was not going to let you out of this, she was stubborn that way. "I'll tell you eventually, now's not the time." You say casually. She was facing you sitting on her legs that were tucked under herself. She had the most adorable pout on her face, that you almost spilled your heart out right there, but you held it back. You noticed how it was just you and her on this couch and no one else was paying attention to you two and you decide to take advantage of this.

        "That was some good chocolate." You say licking your lips, "Now I want something even sweeter." You say leaning closer to her to a point where your noses almost touch. She blushes madly and leans further back away from you. You keep closing the distance until you have her pinned under you on the couch. You see her shut her eyes tight and you lean down. "Thanks." You whisper into her ear and then you dash away with her bag of chocolates in your hand. 
        It takes her a while to realize what you did, but once she does she starts chasing you. 

        "Give back my chocolates you brat!" She shouts as you run around the room, dodging and hopping over anything that gets in your way. 

        "Like hell, Idiot!" You shout back and run into the bathroom. You lock the door shut before she can come in. She starts to bang on the door. 

        "Killua Zoldyck I swear!" She shouts. 

        "Go away you pervert! I'm in the washroom!" You shout back mocking her voice. You stifle a laugh and on the over side of the door you hear the guys laughing and y/n scowl. 

        "J-just don't finish it all." She says.

        You eat the chocolates then exit the washroom after about 10mins. She was watching tv with a pout on her face. 

        "Aw...why so sad?" You tease, "I left you some." You say tossing the chocolates back at her. She scrambles to catch the bag and her eyes light up when she opens it. You only ate a couple and left a lot for her. 

        "Thanks Killua!" She smiles at you but you simply fold you hands behind you head and join Gon. He was inspecting you skateboard.

        "Want me to teach you?" You ask nonchalantly. His eyes light up and he nods happily.

        A/N I don't want it to seem like Killua and Kurapika are treating "you the reader" like a possession that can be won. They genuinely love you, but are combating for you affections. They both want what's best for you, for you to be happy, but they also what you to be happy with them if they can make that happen. You know???
