I had taken a leave from work for about a week but I had been over a week by now but I couldn't just go back when Ash was in terrible condition. His wolf was coming to surface, his body was under a lot of pressure as he tried his best to prepare himself for the shift, but there was nothing he or either I could do to calm him down. His bones kept breaking or stretching at odd moments and it all pained me more to know that I couldn't do anything but wait until his wolf came out

In the world that i was raised in, most supernatural creatures would have their shifts at the age of 18 some earlier than that but it was rare that anyone had shifted before their 18 birthday

Zach and me both got our spiritual beings at a really young age and I could still remember the pain that my body had gone through when my panther was introduced. Cleo had been the most painful since she was the first one at the age of 14 but Zach got his wolf first at the age of 13 and the side affects of that shift still taunted me until this day onwards

I sighed, looking around me, calming as I observed the boy beside me. His eyes full of light as he stared back over at me with a smile on his face

Zach had tried countless of times to argue with me to get him to stay home so he would help Ash with his shifts but again I had forced him away from home. I had promised him that if Ash showed strong signs of him shifting I would mindlink him immediately and he reductively left the house and went to school

But my insides kept curling up once in a while as I felt like I had been watched for more than a week now and it's not only me that's been getting this feeling. Zach's on the same page as me and I had told him to mindlink me whenever he feels like he's been watched when he's walking home and I'll do something about it

Nevertheless both the boys had been begging me let them go out on a run and the answer was always the same but they kept trying. But tonight the boys had won and that's why Zach was howling as he ran after Ash in his wolf form. The boys were screaming at the top of their lungs but I couldn't but roll my eyes as the tall grey wolf had tackled Ash down to the floor, licking Ash's face to annoy the boy

"You wet dog, get off me!" Zach's wolf growled, taking offence to being called a dog when he was more powerful than a humans pet. He snarled at the boy that laid underneath him playfully, putting hishis paws on Ash's chest while glaring down at him with his grey e, playing snarling at the boy to scare him but to bad for him Asher and grown up with huge wolves around himyes

I rolled my eyes as I laid my head down on my folded paws, watching the two fight each other while letting my wolf relax under the night sky. It wasn't pitch black yet but the sun was barely up in the sky now and little stays could be seen here and then and I smiled as I looked away from the boys for a split seconds to admire the sky and everything else

Tall trees, wild flowers, lakes, birds, and so much more to admire at a time like this as I sniffed in the fresh smell of dandelion, in every direction as we walk, paws gently hitting on the muddy ground leaving a trail behind. The moonlight shinning into the dark forest sending light into the dark place. The trees gently blow as the cold breeze hits my wolfs fur and she's howls in joy for once. The water calmingly flowing down the cliff that we were on and hitting the rocks at the bottom was such a refreshing thing to hear from so high up off the ground

'Wanna go there Ash?' Sounded more of a demand than a question as Zach grabbed Ash by his shirt with his teeth as he was in his wolf f,ide pushing him towards the lake. Kade, Zach's was a clumsy little cunt sometimes but the wolf was great in fucking fighting someone, his kicks and bitwereare insane for a wolf his age or size, his strength, weight and height make him the more scariand god was Zach ignorant most of time when he had his wolf on shower
