Chapter thirty five

"What happened?" Was the first thing that came out his mouth as he turned around to stare up at me with his dark blue orbs, shinning underneath the light

I smiled placing a kiss on his forehead as he stared up at me with both confusion and curiosity mixed in his eyes "Nothing" I answered shortly after while grabbing his phone along with his English textbook off the table to hold them in between my hands "ready to go" I questioned adjusting the thick English book under my arm

"Hmm" he closed the computer before turing around and facing me

I smiled slipping his phone in the back of my pocket along with mine "Let's get going, shall we" he nodded standing up and walking beside me

"You know I might not understand you as Zach does Venna but your also my older sister and if someone dared to hurt my family I wouldn't hesitate to hurt them back" I shared a small laugh with my spirts

"I'II keep that in mind but for now stay out of fights" I advised he groaned but nodded nevertheless with my advise "That's my brother" I patted his head walking out the library and towards Ben's waiting car

I opened the door to the back seats and let Ash climb in, I shut the door after I put his English textbook beside him -on his lap to be persist

I opened the door to the passenger seat and climbed in, buckled my seat belt and we drove of, again

I sighed 'I think it's best if we focus on Zach getting better and then maybe you could change jobs from the club to a different one, if that's what you want' Amber advised

I faintly nodded to her request. I stared out the window in a daze 'I know I should have let them explain themself but I also don't want mates, I'm being selfish as always...' I frowned pinching the skin of my palm, hard 'why is having mates so complicated?' I asked to on one in particular

I felt confused within myself, why is the mate bond so hard to resist? Maybe, just maybe we were mated by a mistake, yes a hug mistake!

I jumped out my thoughs as I heard the car stop in front of the hospital, that Zach was currently staying in "Ben could you please talk to Zach's doctor and get him discharged" I asked getting out the car after he parked

"Hmm" I nodded as I started walking away from the car and towards the hospitals entrance -exit-

It was quiet -other then Ash and Xander bricking back at each other- as we rode up the elevator. I stepped out when the doors slipped open to reveal the second top floor of the hospital

I walked straight towards Zach's hospital room to see him standing up with new pair of clothes on, I'm guessing with the help of his witch?

I smiled walking around and embracing my brother in my arms "I'm sorry" I apologized again while laying my forehead against his shoulder "for everything..." I mumbled earning a light groan from him in response

"Wait- so your sorry for raising me since I was young" I cracked a small smile at his fake saddened voice "ugh my poor heart can't deal with the harsh reality"

"The pout really doesn't suit Zach's face" I smiled at Ash's insult? Anyways Zach glared at him while pulling away from me

"Ahh I see you still haven't grown an inch at all" Ash glared at him while walking up to him and lightly jabbing him in his side with his elbow "for a midget you have a strong jab" grumbled Zach with a glare

"Stop with the midget jokes" Ash rolled his eyes, showing how fed up he was with his jokes "they're irritating at this point" he mumbled more to himself

I smiled sitting down on a seat while looking over at my two brothers. My strength, hope and love... I smiled as they barked back at each other with identical scowl's fixed on their faces that was until Xander stepped into the room "sibling drama is always enterminting when your not part of it"
