A Prince's Birthday

Debbie was sleeping in Carol's lap as Barb brought a chocolate cake with blue and red frosting. It had a skull and bone shaped from frosting

Carol heard Barb and put Debbie on the couch and went over to Barb

"You seem stressed." Carol said, tilting her head

"Of course I am! It's Knox's first birthday! Did I get the right cake? W-what if something goes wrong.." Barb said

"It's perfect." Riff said, painting letters on pieces of paper

Carol held her hand to calm her down

"It'll all be great! He's sleeping, so you should spend the day with him. It's the kids first birthday. I'll get Trollstopia to finish decorating." Carol said

Barb smiled as Carol left with the cake and everything else. Even Debbie

Barb took a deep breath and went to Knox's room in the wall

Barb slid to Knox's tiny door and knocked with her finger

"Psst, Knox?" She called

"Noooo five more minutes.." Knox said from the other side

"Welllll I guess the birthday boy doesn't want to have a birthday." Barb said in a gentle voice

Knox immediately got out of his room just wearing his underwear, gloves, and leg warmer on

"IT'S MY BIRTHDAY?!!" He smiled

"Yeahhh, but you know if you don't get dressed then I guess not." Barb said with a smirk

Knox dramatically gasped and immediately went to get dressed

Knox came out of his room all ready

"I can't believe it's my birthday!" Knox smiled, jumping on Barbs hand

"You got that kiddo, and it's going to be perfect!" Barb smiled

"You've never had a birthday before. Except, of course, for the one that's happening today. So I'm here to spend the day with you, to help you celebrate, and be your birthday date if I may." Barb sang then sneezed

Knox's head jolted up and looked at Barb

"Mom, I'm thinking you might be sick." Knox said in song

"Oh it's fine. Besides, being sick never got in my way." Barb sang

Barb pointed to the red string on the floor

"Just follow the string!" Barb smiled

Knox smiled

"Wait, what?" He asked

Knox jumped off of Barbs hand and walked forward. Barb watched him walk off and immediately followed

"I've got big plans, I've got surprises for today. Nothing but nothing's gonna get in our way!" Barb sang

Knox climbed the string onto a small speaker. Barb opened the top and there was a guitar pick in there. Knox smiled

"I've worked for weeks, planned everything within my power. I even got Debbie and Uncle Riff to take a shower." Barb sang

Soda fell on Riff outside

"If someone wants to hold me back. I'd like to see them try!" Barb sang

Knox opened the tiny doors and it had a belt with lightning bolts. Knox put it on

"I'm on the birthday plan attack. I'm giving you the sun, the moon, and the sky!!" Barb sang

They ran outside and there was a guitar and drumsticks waiting for them. Knox picked them up and looked at Barb with a smile
