Trolls: Trollstopia

Together Again Pt. 3

Poppy was sitting at a table with Carol waiting for a Troll. They were already on the last Troll since none of the others were Carol's type. There was always a problem with them

They were either not edgy enough, not sarcastic enough, not defensive enough, too naive, and so many other things

Poppy honestly started losing hope till she saw Sid coming over to them and sat across from Carol

"So is this like some happy get together?" Sid asked

"Something like that." Poppy smiled

"Weird." Sid said

"Yeah, so weird." Carol said

Poppy just stared at them both

"Well! I'll be back real soon." Poppy said

Poppy began to walk away

"This is so gonna work!" Poppy whispered under her breath

Carol and Sid both looked at each other and cleared their throat

"Sooooooo how was your day?" Sid asked

"I'd say it was more of an eh." Carol said

"It's always an eh, but same." Sid said

They went into another awkward silence till Sid cleared his throat

"Soooo..." Sid began

He then grabbed Carol's hand

"How would you feel going on a ride tonight?" Sid asked

"I like rides." Carol said

Barb presses her fingers together almost like she was about anxious about something. Barb then took a piece of paper out of her hair which had a whole apology written out, Barb read it over

"Hey Carol, I know we separated a few months ago and you're probably already over me! But umm why don't the two of us go to this restaurant I found just outside of Trollstopia?!" Barb asked aloud with a nervous smile

Barb's smile then disappeared as she sighed

"That'll never work. Ok! Ok. I know I promised Sparks I'd do it after the song later tonight, but I can't wait anymore!" Barb said

Barb then heard laughing and went that direction. She then saw Carol. Barb rubbed the back of her neck getting extremely nervous

"Hey uhh Carol can I-"

Barb stopped when she saw Sid and Carol together. Carol was laughing. She was actually laughing! Barb never got Carol to laugh like that or laugh at all

"Oh Sid Fret, you my friend are hilarious." Carol said

"Oh please.." Sid smiled

Barb felt her heart shatter into a million pieces. For once she tried to express her feelings, but then it blew up right in her face

Barb felt tears coming out of her eyes. She tried to get them to stop but nothing. Barb tripped on her leg as she was stepping back.

Barb looked at the words on her paper and felt the tears coming faster. She then ripped the paper in half and just dropped it on the floor and ran off in tears
