New Hearts Pt. 1

Lloyd was walking around Trollstopia with Branch. Branch was taking Lloyd to teach him how to survive in the wild if he were to ever get lost

"Daddd this entire thing is a waste of time. I've already survived in the wild in Trolls: Vacation." Lloyd said

"Because you had your sister and friends. This is if you're by yourself and have no supplies." Branch said

Lloyd sighed and rolled his eyes

Branch gave Lloyd a bow and arrow

"Now, being in the wild means you have to be prepared. First, never leave home without a weapon or something to defend yourself with. Write that down." Branch said

Lloyd took a notepad and wrote what Branch was saying

"Second! You always watch your surroundings in case any predators try to attack. Like..... A HAMSTER!!!" Branch shouted, pointing behind Lloyd

Lloyd turned around and saw a hamster and back at Branch extremely confused

"A hamster? Dad really? It's harmless." Lloyd said

"It wants you to think that. When you least except it.............. IT'LL ATTACK!!!!" Branch shouted

Lloyd picked up the hamster

"LLOYD!! NO!!!!!" Branch shouted

Branch shot an arrow at the hamster

The hamster jumped into Lloyds hair and hid

"DAD!! STOP!!!" Lloyd shouted

"I NEED TO-"

"You don't need to do anything. You scared the poor thing. 🥺" Lloyd said

Branch looked and saw Lloyd giving him puppy eyes. The hamster came out of Lloyd's hair and gave him the same look

Branch sighed

"Ok fine." Branch said

"YAY!!" Lloyd smiled

The three heard something and looked in that direction and saw two Funk Trolls. One was a child and the other was an adult

When Lloyd saw the Trolling he immediately felt blush spread across his face. Branch sighed annoyed

"W-who's that dad?" Lloyd asked

"That's Rowan and his son Quill." Branch answered clenching his fists

"Wow." Lloyd smiled not taking his eyes off of Quill

Branch heard the sigh of love in Lloyd's voice. Branch looked at his son and saw him looking at Quill

"Do you like him?" Branch asked

"Well I'm not saying anything. He does look like a charmer. Gosh he's a handsome guy." Lloyd smiled

Branch got protective and annoyed immediately. He didn't get this way with Cream, because Branch knew his moms, and had no problem with his daughter dating Asriel. He was a good kid. But Lloyd....

Branch didn't like Rowan one bit. The way he disrespected the laws of nature didn't fit well with Branch

"We're leaving." Branch said

Just as Branch was about to leave, Lloyd walked over to Quill and Rowan

"Lloyd no!!" Branch said

Lloyd cleared his throat and took a deep breath

"Hi." Lloyd said, his voice cracked

Quill and Rowan looked at Lloyd

"Hi!" Quill smiled

"I-I'm Lloyd!" Lloyd smiled

"I'm Quill! It's great to meet you Lloyd." Quill smiled

"You're Branch's boy aren't you?" Rowan asked

"Yeah! Dad and I were out here doing survival tactics. Even though I've already survived." Lloyd said

"I'll teach you the way of survival. In the fun way!" Quill smiles

Lloyd smiled as a tiny blush came on his face

Branch was in the back watching Lloyd with them. It hurt his heart when Lloyd had smiled. Branch's ears dropped

All he wanted was to spend time with his boy, but Lloyd would rather do different things instead. Branch sighed and sat down on the grass
