Mark stepped inside his apartment and was met with Johnny and Min-ji playing with her blocks. Mark smiled as he took off his sneakers and put his bag on the dinning room chair. Johnny noticed his presence, "What's up, dude?"

"Hey, nothing really. Is everything going okay?" Mark asked his older brother. "Of course, everything is fine. We were getting ready to clean up now, right Min-ji?" Johnny smiled as Min-ji nodded her head. The both of them put the blocks away and into her room as Mark trailed behind them. Johnny lifted Min-ji on her bed with her two stuffed animals sandwiched beside her. "Goodnight, Min-ji," both boys simultaneously said and closed her door, leaving it cracked. They walked into the living room and sat on the couch.

"Thank you for watching her," Mark says. "No need to thank me," Johnny chirped with a smile. "The Dreamies are coming over after school tomorrow," Mark started, "they're going to meet Min-ji..although they don't know it yet." Mark, out of habit, started tapping his fingertips on his thighs. "You don't have to he nervous, you know?" Johnny inquired, "they're going to be happy for you as they're supposed to be since they're your best friends."

"I know, I'm just afraid of their initial reactions that's all," Mark honestly spoke. Johnny nodded, "Don't worry, you're making this harder on yourself than it should be. It'll be fine." Johnny nudged the younger boy's shoulder and Mark stopped tapping his fingers. "Yeah, you're right. I'll try not to think about it much," Mark responded. "I know I'm right," Johnny snickered and Mark playfully rolled his eyes.

The two boys chatted for a little while longer until Johnny had to go. "I'll see you tomorrow," Johnny hugged his brother and walked out the door. Mark locked the door with a sigh and checked on Min-ji to see if she was asleep.

As soon as Mark opened the door, Min-ji sat up on her bed. "Min-ji, it's really late. You should be sleeping now," Mark told her. Min-ji dropped her gaze on Mark as it now settled on her fingers. Mark sat on the edge of her bed, "What's wrong, Nena?" Min-ji kept silent and Mark spoke up again, "How about I stay here until you fall asleep, yeah? How does that sound?"

She looked up at Mark and nodded her head. Min-ji scooched her body over so that Mark can sit next to her. Once he was, Min-ji crawled on his lap and rested her head on Mark's chest, listening to his heartbeat. Mark smiled as he ran his fingers through her brown, short wavy hair and hummed a melody. His voice was soft and sweet, which allowed Min-ji to relax and drift off to sleep.

This day being a long one was the first thing Mark thought as soon as he woke up. He had woken up in Min-ji's room since he ended up falling asleep last night. He received a text that morning from the group chat, confirming their hang out at his apartment today. To say Mark was nervous, was an understatement.

Mark was currently in his last class for the day as Johnny was over his apartment watching Min-ji. He was trying to pay attention to the last few minutes of class as his leg bounced uncontrollably. "Dude, you okay?" Jeno whispered. Mark turned his head, realizing what he was doing and mentally cursed at himself. "Yeah I'm fine. I'm excited for later," Mark tried to be as nonchalant as he could. Jeno agreed with him and turned his attention back to the lecture, still suspicious of him but not wanting to push Mark any further.

As soon as their professor ended their lesson, Mark gathered his things and shoved them into his bag. He swung his backpack over his shoulder and walked over to Jeno, who was waiting for him by the exit. Both boys left the class and were heading to their separate cars. "You know you can tell me anything, right?" Jeno asked, which caught Mark off gaurd by the sudden question. "Y-yeah of course. I know that," Mark rubbed the back of his nape with one hand as the other nervously tapped his pants. Jeno sighed and stopped Mark from entering his car, "Mark." The said boy was freaking out and he wasn't sure what to do.

"I know," Jeno said. Mark was confused for a second. What does he know and why is he being so serious? "You know?" Was all Mark could reply with. "Yeah, it's so obvious," Jeno said. Mark started to panic, "I'm sorry I didn't tell you guys yet. I swear I was going to tonight when all of us were together!" Jeno pat his shoulder, "Relax, it's fine." Jeno cursed, "Dammit, I owe $20 to Renjun and Jaemin."

"What do you mean?" Mark asked in confusion. "Uh, we made a bet on when you and Haechan would finally be together? Now I owe them," Jeno said in slight frustration, not liking to lose a bet. "What the heck are you talking about?" Mark interrogated. "Aren't you and Haechan together? Isn't that what you were going to tell us?" Jeno interpreted.

"What?! No, no we're not together! That wasn't what I was going to tell you guys," Mark exclaimed since his one of his closest friends had the wrong idea. Jeno scratching the top of his head in embarrassment, "oh...oops?"

"Goodness gracious! I can't believe you guys were betting over that!" Mark said, with his head in his hands. "I mean look at the bright side, now I don't owe any money," Jeno said with a nervous chuckle. Mark glared at him, "Congratulations, man." Mark unlocked his car door. "What were you going to tell us then?" Jeno asked and there it was again, Mark panicking. "U-um, you'll know later I promise," Mark quickly spluttered and Jeno stopped asking questions. They bid their goodbyes, saying they'll see each other later and left.
