~I Wish You Could See It~

The next day, college was going by particularly slower than usual. All Mark wanted to do was go home to Min-ji. But can he do that? No because directly after school, he has to go to work. Mark isn't the type to complain about his job or school at all. He takes them both fairly seriously, but there are days where you can't stand doing anything. And that's how Mark feels. He doesn't want to do anything today and just wants to relax. Ever since the incident a few days prior, everything felt rushed. He felt like he didn't have a break to relax because as soon as everything happened, he was back to what he normally does on a day to day basis.

It was a bit contradicting since his day was going by slow, but he still felt rushed. He felt he needs to do something, but he isn't sure what it is just yet. Mark still has to go back to the hospital this weekend to remove his stitches on his head. Once class finished, he walked with Jeno to their cars and bid his goodbye.

Mark was finishing up his shift and packing his things to head back home. Business was busy today and there were quite a few music lessons. Mark loved to be able to witness the student's progression. It makes him smile, as he was once in their shoes before.

Mark eventually arrived home after a bit of running around to buy a few things. Johnny had put Min-ji to bed already. "Hey," Johnny said, standing up from the couch. Mark slipped off his shoes, "Hi, everything okay today?"

"Of course, everything was fine as always. Her bruises are healing slowly but surely," Johnny stated. Mark was glad they were healing nicely. He took a quick shower and ate his dinner. "She wanted to wait for you to get home, but ended up falling asleep rather quickly," Johnny informed his younger brother. Mark was taken back for a few seconds. She fell asleep that quick? Mark shook his head and giggled a little, "She must have been tired."

"Probably, I don't blame her. She doesn't get much sleep , so for her to be sleeping now is great," Johnny remarked with a smile. Mark simply nodded his head in agreement. "You should get some sleep to, you have a big day tomorrow," Johnny said and pat the smaller boy's head.

Mark almost displayed a confused expression as to how Johnny knew that, but then remembered he mentioned it to him this morning. "You can stay over if you want," Mark insisted to which Johnny kindly shook his head. "No thanks, Ten is waiting for me so that we can watch a movie together," Johnny smiled, a blush appearing on his face as he mentioned his boyfriend.

Mark giggled and yawned, "You should bring him over some time." Johnny nodded, "I might just do that." Soon Johnny left after they bid their goodbyes and Mark went to bed.

The next morning, Mark woke up pretty early. He didn't understand why, but maybe it's because he was nervous since he is going to ask Haechan to be his boyfriend. Of course, with Min-ji's permission first. He cares about her opinion more than anything and he hopes she will be on board with the idea. Mark heated up breakfast and set it on the table for the both he and Min-ji.

Min-ji made her way to the table, rubbing her eyes as she had just woken up. Mark cooed at the sight of his baby in her bunny pajamas. She sat in the chair and began eating. Mark was so happy at this and ate as well after bidding her a good morning.

"Nena, we're going out today. I'm going to play piano," Mark said and Min-ji's eyes lit up from his words. "Now?" Min-ji asked as she took a sip of her juice. Mark gently shook his head, "No not now, but this afternoon when I get home later." Min-ji pushed her plate to the side, signalling that she was done, "okay."

After breakfast, Mark cleaned the dishes and sat with Min-ji on the couch. "Min-ji, you remember Haechan, right? My best friend?" Mark asked the baby. "Sunflower?" Min-ji replied and Mark smiled fondly. "Yeah, sunflower. What do you think about him?" Mark asked another question. Min-ji nodded her head, "Pretty sunflower." Mark giggled, "He is pretty isn't he? Would you mind if he became your daddy's sunflower?" Min-ji stared blankly, thinking about what she should respond with. And all that thinking resulted in a head shake.

"Are you sure Min-ji? I won't ask him if you're not comfortable yet. He and I both want you to be comfortable first," Mark explained. Haechan doesn't know about the potential asking to be his boyfriend, but he knows that Haechan would make sure Min-ji was okay with it as well. "You happy, sunflower happy, I happy," Min-ji nodded as she was pointing from Mark to herself.

Mark loves his child with his whole heart and she was one of the best things that has ever happened to him. She was talking more, eating more, sleeping more. Well, only sleeping when Mark is there, but still sleeping and Mark couldn't be happier. Of course she still has her days where she doesn't really make any progress, but that's perfectly okay. Progress is made through time, not overnight. Mark could wait forever.

Mark couldn't stop smiling at his baby, "Thank you Nena." The said baby just fiddled with her fingers and shyly looked away.

Johnny turned on his heels towards Mark, before leaving. "Good luck. Go get your man," the tall boy said with a reassuring smile. Mark blushed, thanking him as they hugged and Johnny left. Mark wore a white button up and black jeans. He dressed Min-ji in her yellow long sleeved dress. Though she didn't show it, Min-ji was really excited to see a piano up close for the first time.

Haechan arrived, wearing a blue and black stripped button up that fit him loosely, tucked into his ripped jeans. Mark would be lying if he said the younger didn't look good because he looked astonishing as always. Though Mark was staring a bit too long, which made the younger blush intensely, "Hi Markie." Mark gulped silently, "Hey, you ready?" Haechan nodded and crouched down to Min-ji, "Hi Min-ji! Are you excited to watch your daddy play piano today?!"

"..yeah," Min-ji shyly said and both boys cooed. They made their way into Mark's car and drove off to his job, the Music Department.
