To say that Zena and Spencer's morning started off hectically would be the understatement of the century. It was odd, Spencer's alarm hadn't gone off, both Zena and Spencer's phones were dead (even though they both remembered to plug them in the night before) and worst of all, both coffee pots weren't working. Because of this, they had woken up late, and Spencer had gone to work late. Zena was a fortunate that the university was off for summer holiday.

It was about an hour into Spencer having left for headquarters when Zena realized that there were three case files left on the counter. While she was curious as to what they could be, she didn't read them, she knew it was classified. Without hesitation Zena threw the case files in her bag and began her first trip ever to FBI headquarters. However, on her way to the car she couldn't help but feel as if eyes were on her. After looking around in great detail she saw nobody and decided to place her anxieties on the morning's strange events.

As Zena walked through the glass doors to the bullpen, she couldn't help but to stare in awe of everything around her. Her surroundings were filled with hundreds of FBI agents bustling about their day, mulling over files, having intense phone calls, and occasionally sprinting out of the room to go god knows where. However, taking in her surroundings was cut short when she saw the back of her favorite FBI agent's head. She slowly and quietly approached Spencer, putting her index finger over her lips to ensure Derek and Emily wouldn't give it away. Then, when she was close enough, she put her hands on his shoulders shaking him, causing a loud scream and a very angry agent to turn around. This caused everyone to laugh, and tears were coming out of JJ's eyes.

"Zena what the hell are you doing here?" Spencer asked, red in the face, a smile stretching from ear to ear. Zena loved it when he smiled because the corners of his eyes crinkled so perfectly.

Three dense files were thrown on Spencer's desk by Zena, making a loud thud. "You left these at home Genius."

He glanced down at the files then back up at her with a look of gratitude. "You're my saving grace, you know that? I didn't even recognize I had left these at home," he said putting the files in the topmost drawer of his desk, standing up and giving her a kiss. The rest of the team looked at the happy couple. They never thought they would see Spencer in love like this.

"Oh I know, you would be in pretty rough shape without me," Zena told him, giving him one last kiss. "I have to go home now, Pavlov is all by-himself and I don't want him to think we have abandoned him," she explained waving goodbye to everyone.

After Zena had left, the rest of the team had started back up on their paperwork, which the rest of the team hated and of course Reid loved. "I don't remember leaving those files at home," Reid said to Morgan as they were on their way to grab another cup of coffee.

Morgan looked over at him questioningly saying "Reid, you never forget anything. Is everything alright?"

Spencer began to think. "Honestly, we had a really rough start to the morning. My alarm never went off, both of our phones were dead, the coffee pots weren't working. It was really nerve wracking" he explained to Morgan.

"Maybe the outlets in the house aren't working? I can look at them for you," Morgan began. But Spencer had quickly walked away towards his desk, opening his messenger bag to find three files sitting exactly where he thought they would be. Holding them up, he showed them to Morgan who quickly sprinted over to him.  "I knew I didn't forget them," he whispered.

"If you had the regular case files in your bag the whole time, what are those?" Morgan asked, pointing to the top drawer of the desk. In seconds Morgan and Reid were ripping through the files; pictures of Zena and Spencer pouring out of the manilla envelopes; holding hands while walking Pavlov, grocery shopping, drinking coffee at their favorite cafe. The pictures however became even more frightening as they were sifted through, pictures of Zena in the shower, of Spencer cooking breakfast in the morning, of Pavlov sleeping in his doggie bed, all things that were done inside their home.

Spencer looked up at Morgan with tears streaming down his face, someone had been watching them, and today they were going to act on it. Without a moment to spare Spencer picked up the phone and dialed Zena's number, hoping she would pick up.

"Hey Delilah, it's Z. How are you holding up," she said into the phone, every word she uttered was calm and collected, shocking Spencer, but it made him feel better knowing she was capable of talking.

"Zena, Zena baby listen to me. I need to know if you're okay. Are you okay?"

"Oh, I am so sorry to hear that Rachel and Tom have been ignoring you, that is such a concrete part of their character. Listen, I'm in a sticky situation, I'm gonna have to call you back. I love you endlessly. You know that, right?" With a click of a button the phone was hung up.

Spencer and Derek looked up at each other knowing what had happened. The two agents sprinted up to Hotch's office, not even bothering to knock.

"Reid, Morgan. What is the matter?"

With a shaking voice Spencer informed informed Hotch. "Sir, Zena has been taken."
