I'm possibly the only person who finds the sight and sound of pouring boiling water from the kettle into a cup soothing, especially early in the morning.
It was six thirty in the morning and I was up as we had 'gone to bed' early last night. The thought of last night made me blush as I poured cold milk into my cup of tea. I'm also one of those people who have drink tea with cold milk.
It had been my first time last night, and I probably wasn't the best judge, but wow that had been amazing.
Taking my cup of tea and a plate of buttered toast to the kitchen table, I sat down and started watching a random Pakistani drama on YouTube on my phone. I have a love-hate relationship with Pakistani TV shows. While some turn out to be masterpieces, a lot of them have become cliché soaps, and yet I still watched them because once you got started, you just had to know which guy the main girl ended up with, or which girl the main guy ended up with. Mama used to watch the show wide-eyed, while I complained and yelled at the characters, which eventually led to me being kicked out of the living room.
