"Tara..." I soothed her. She was panicking and crying. "Tara, relax."
But then she suddenly kicked hard with both her legs, kicking the duvet away.
"See, your leg is okay." I held her in my arms, kissing her forehead and soothing her worry away.
"Ya Allah!" She cried in relief, pressing her head against my chest. "Zain..."
"You're fine, Trouble." I whispered. "But if you want, I can take you to the hospital right now."
She shook her head. "No, it's just pins and needles. I freaked out, I guess."
"It's okay, it's natural." I kissed the top of her head. "But you're okay, you're safe."
I held her until she fell back asleep, and then I gently lay her down in bed. Leaning down, I kissed her forehead, feeling an intense amount of love for this beautiful girl of mine.
Ya Allah, thank you for giving me Tara. I'm so blessed, Alhumdulillah.

The next morning, I found myself in bed alone. "Tara?"
I heard the shower running and smiled. I love Tara's scent after a shower, the mixture of the scents of her shampoo and body wash was intoxicating. I turned my head and saw Sir Quackers resting on her pillow and I chuckled at the name again. Tara really was something. Her unique personality was something that I'd never come across before.
When she stepped out of the bathroom, I burst out laughing. She was wearing black leggings and a white tank-top that had a cartoon duck on the front. "Where do you get this stuff?"
She grinned. "It's Tara-style. I bought it the minute I saw it." She was towel drying her hair as she walked over to the bed, by my side.
I stood up and kissed her forehead. "I love you."
I was facing a tough situation regarding work, but with Tara by my side, I knew that I would successfully handle it all.
"I love you too." She smiled at me. She shook her head. "You know, in all this rubbish, I forgot to ask you when the date for Amir Bhai and Rumi's wedding is set?"
"The Nikah is in December, In Sha Allah." I replied. "And the wedding will be in April, in Lahore. This was Amir's sisters can come with their families during the holidays."
