I woke up. Wait, I'm on my bed. Did I fell asleep earlier?
"You're awake." I glanced to my side and saw Ten, he's looking at me with a serious expression. I sat up and smiled, "Sorry I fell asleep."
"How long?" I shivered. It's the first time I heard him this serious.
"What?" I asked. I hope the topic is not what I feared the most.
"I know Ember."
"Know what?"
"EMBER PLEASE!" I held my chest out of shock, he looked away and frustratingly stroked his hair. He just shouted at me.
"Ten.." He didn't answer.
"Ten I don't know what you're talking about." I continued, still pretending that everything is okay.
"You were asleep for 3 days Ember. 3 days." I look outside, it's daylight.
"I was exhausted--"
"No! You're not exhausted! You're dying!"
"Ten, I swear. I'm not dying.. Ten.. Ten, look at me." He look at me. He's crying. Oh God. He's crying. I blinked hard and prevented myself from crying also, "See? I'm perfectly fine."
"Ember.." I wiped his tears and hugged him, "Ember you're not okay." He held me tightly in his arms and cried. We cried. This is so hard. Please God I want to live.
"Ember let's go." He stood up and pulled me, "Come on I finally fixed the machine."
"Ten I'm staying." I pulled my back away. He looked at me, "I'm going to stay."
"It's not possible anymore."
"It is! Look--" I looked at my wrist. The watch.. it's gone, "W-where's the watch?"
"I removed it."
"Why?" He didn't answer me and instead he pulled me again, "Let's go."
"NO!" I tried to get away from his grip but he was stronger than me. I tried my best to fight him but I am slowly having a hard time to breathe. I coughed hard and felt my body fell to the ground.
"EMBER!" He lift me up and placed me on the bed again, "Ember.. ember."
"I'm staying." I said in a faint voice. I focused on my breathing and look up at the ceiling.
"I'm staying.." I continued.
