Y/N's POV

A couple of weeks had passed since the Cedric thing, I still have nightmares about it at least twice a week but Mattheo is always there to calm me down and it's slowly getting better.

It's now monday, october 30th, tomorrow we have a day off school because they are setting up for the Halloween dance that starts at 7pm.

Jade is now officially dating George and they both seem very happy together

"Blaise if you keep eating all of the waffles before I get here I will turn you into a waffle" Cali shouted at Blaise "then wake up earlier sweetheart" Blaise replied, Cali wasn't saying anything I looked to my left to see that she was blushing "Cali" I whispered to her "your staring at him stop before he notices" I whisper again "oh haha thanks" she whispers back looking at me.

"So what are you girls going to dress up as for the dance" Draco asks "that's a surprise"  i say taking a bite of my toast "am I aloud to know?" Mattheo asks "did I not say it was a surprise" I tease him "sorry mate, looks like you're stuck with the boys" Blaise laughs, Mattheo sighs and I place a small kiss on his cheek making him smile a bit then quickly hide it.

The bell rings signalling for us to head to first period and for Mattheo and i that was DADA but I didn't want to get up yet, "come on y/n Mad-eye will kill us if we are late" he states standing up and holding a hand out, I wonder what he would do if I just didn't get up "nah, I think I'll stay" I respond turning around to face him "well this is your doing then princess" he says he leans down and wraps his harms around my waist throwing my over his shoulders "it's a good thing you didn't wear a skirt today" he laughs as he starts walking out of the hall "put me down Mattheo, MATTHEO TOM RIDDLE PUT ME DOWN" I scream at him "oh crap that was my full name" he says placing me down outside of the hall "yes, yes it was" I say crossing my arms in front of me and looking up at him.

"You're so cute when your angry" he says calmly leaning down and planting a small kiss on my lips, I instantly blushed and I got flustered with my words, "come on princess" he said talking my hand as we walked to DADA.

The class was pretty boring to be honest, Mad-eye kept going over topics I'm pretty sure were illegal, he kept going on about dark magic and honestly it triggered me, it was not as bad as watching the unforgivable curses that reminded me of my father and when he used The Cruciatus Curse on me if I didn't do the chores or disrespected him.

I noticed in the corner of my eye Mattheo was looking at me, shit he must have heard what I was thinking "get out of my head Mattheo" I think, and he looks away.

Mattheo's POV

As soon as I hear those words in her head I try to detach myself from her thoughts as she clearly knows I was listening, but in all honesty her thoughts are more interesting then any of our classes together especially when they're about me, shut up Mattheo focus on something else.

"Reminded my of my father" her thoughts replayed in my head, I can't believe her father would do that to her I thought that was just my fathers form of punishment, if anyone ever touches her lime that of even looks at her wrong, even if their her father they are dead.

Y/N's POV

It's finally lunch time and I walk into the hall with Mattheo ready to relax with my friends before Cali, Jade, Pansy and I ditch the last half of the day to go shopping, as soon as I walk through the doors I see Cali and Blaise arguing in the middle of the hall about Merlin knows what.
