The next morning I woke up to the screaming of my name. My eyes shot open. I hopped out of bed groggily and opened my door. I only knew one person in this house that screams like that. Narcissa came running up the stairs.

"Is everything alright?" She asked quickly, panting a little.

"I'm not sure." I whispered. I walked across the hall and opened Draco's door. His sheets were all messed up and he was tossing and turning, sweat dripping down his colorless skin.

"Please..." Draco whimpered silently, his eyes still closed. I walked over and sat on the bed. I put my hand on his forehead, pushing back his hair and slid my hand down to his cheek.

"Draco?" I whispered rubbing my thumb on his cheek. He didn't wake up, he just tossed uncomfortably. "Draco." I said a little big louder. His eyes fluttered open. He saw me and engulfed me in a hug.

"You were dead." He whispered.

"It was only a dream, Draco, nothing more." I replied rubbing the back of his head.

"It all seemed so real." He said.

"Well it wasn't alright. I'm here and there's nothing to worry about." I continued. He pulled away when Narcissa cleared her throat.

"Right, well, now that I know you're okay, I think I'll leave you two...alone." She said.

"Mother. We're not together, we're just friends." He gave his mum an annoyed look. She laughed lightly.

"We'll see." She smiled and shut the door. Draco and I then heard her mumble 'young love' and give out a happy sigh. I looked back and Draco and laughed out loud.

"You think this is funny?" He asked. I just nodded not being able to say anything. "Well it's not, she's probably down there planning our wedding." He said.

"So? Let her have some imagination, there's not much to do now a days. She needs something to take her mind off of all of it." I say smiling.

"It's worse than you think, she's probably planning on different names for our children and planning baby showers and that kind of stuff!" a smile played at the corner of his lips. He paused. We both burst out laughing at the same time.

"Alright, well I'm going to go get dressed and then some breakfast. Meet me downstairs and we'll get you some pain killers too." I said heading out of the room. I got dressed in some skinny jeans and a Slytherin hoodie. I really didn't feel like doing anything today. I walked downstairs and saw Draco and Narcissa in the kitchen/ smaller dining area and took some toast from the table sitting down next to Draco.

"Here, take this Draco darling, for the aching." His mother brought a goblet him. He swallowed it making a disgusted face.

"I forgot to tell you two, but we're hosting a ball this evening for all of our good work and to keep our spirits high. Every known death eater will be here so I expect you two to be polite, not that you aren't, but anyway, pick out some nice attire for this evening. Be down to the Ballroom at 9:00 sharp." Narcissa spoke up.

"We're having a ball?" Draco questioned not believing his ears.

"Yes, like I said, be polite and use your manners, even if you don't like a particular person." She strictly said. "Well, I'm going to go prepare, so you two do whatever, and remember 9:00 sharp." She said leaving the room.

"I'm so not in the mood." I mumbled.

"You got that right...well then, what do you want to do for the time being?" He asked.

"I don't know, I think I'll just go up to my room and read, and you should get some rest, seeing as you had a hard time sleeping and you are still sore." I stated.
