The next morning was the day that everybody was going to put their name in the Goblet. I got up early so I could see who would. I sat around and clapped as people put their names in. Then I heard a commotion of Hufflepuff's yelling Cedric's name. My mouth dropped as I saw him drop his name in. "Cedric Diggory!" I yelled. He looked at me and then tried to run away. "Cedric come back here!" He stopped in his tracks.

"Look I know what you're going to say Nyx, and I don't care. I really want to do this. I know I will be risking my life, but it sounds fun doesn't it? Don't worry, if I'm chosen, then I'll be careful. I promise." I looked at him and let out a big gulp of breath.

"I'll hold you to that." I smiled and he hugged me from the side. The next thing we know, the twins are barging in yelling 'yes!'

"Well lads, we've done it!" Fred exclaimed.

"Cooked it up just this morning." George finished.

"It's not going to work." Hermione sang. The twins went on either side of her.

"And why is that Granger?" George asked.

"You see this, this is an age line. Dumbledore drew it himself."

"So." Fred added.

"So, a genius like Dumbledore couldn't possibly be fooled by something so dimwitted as an aging potion.

"But that's why it's brilliant."

"Because it's pathetically dimwitted." George finished off. They were barking mad. They stood up and shook their potions.

"Ready Fred."

"Ready George.

"Bottoms up." They both said. Once they had finished drinking it, they jumped inside the ring. Everybody cheered them on. Then they both put their names in the Goblet silencing everybody. Again everybody cheered for them, but them suddenly the flame sent them flying backwards out of the ring. They both grew gray hair and beards and began fighting.

"You said."

"You said."

Everybody gathered around them chanting 'fight' except for Hermione and I, we both thought that they were rather stupid. All the chanting stopped once Viktor Krum came striding in with Karkaroff at his side. I looked up from the book I'd been reading about potions. He entered the circle and put his name in, then to my surprise, turned to face me smiling and winked. Once he left the room every girl turned to me and squealed. I wasn't into that sort of girly thing so I stood up and left the room. Classes were boring as always, so after I just went straight to bed. I couldn't believe Cedric put his name in. Well I guess we'll see who is chosen tomorrow.

The next morning everyone gathered in the Great Hall. Dumbledore got us to calm down and take our seats. I sat next to Cedric and a couple of my others friends were nearby.

"Now the moment you've all been waiting for, the champion selection." Dumbledore started. He lifted his hand up and dimmed the lights in the room. Once he was done with that, the Goblet's flames then turned from blue to red and a piece of burnt parchment flew down to Dumbledore.

"The Durmstrang champion is, Viktor Krum!" all the Durmstrang students cheered for him as he made his way forward and out of the room. The goblet's flames turned red and out came another piece of parchment.

"From Beaxbatons, Fleur Delecour!" The girls from Beaxbatons made a few girly cheers. She also made her way out of the room. Now all that was left was the champion from Hogwarts. I was really hoping that it wouldn't be Cedric, but at the same time I really want him to be the champion.
