Chapter Twenty

Italy Harris.

I sit at my vanity the next morning while staring into the mirror brushing my hair with a bothered expression ever since I woke up. I tried to think last night was a horrible dream but I could still feel Roman's hands upon my body,

It wasn't working

I felt like throwing up due to the overwhelming situation. Roman Haines has the biggest backbone ever to do what he did to me and im furious and humiliated.

Jace continues to shower not knowing about the problem and im afraid to tell him now. Jesus im a goddamn fool and im stressed. He's been so busy and stressed himself that no time is good to say anything.

I slammed my brush down wanting to scream or hit something! Suddenly I flinched feeling Jace's hands grab my shoulders,

"I'm sorry honey, I didn't mean to startle you" Jace kisses my temple

"It's fine so how was work last night?" I asked applying mascara

"Busy, John told me we'd be having some good investors coming in, Work is thriving" Jace explained with a bright tone

I faked a smile "That's great so that means you'll be working more?" I couldn't help but ask, thinking back to the phone call, I'm doubting my fiance! I know Jace wouldn't cheat but im scared to get the answer upfront.

I'm such a wimp

"Unfortunately, is that a problem?" He questioned

"Course not but we still need to set appointments for venues" I turned my stool around, and Jace ruffled his head with the towel

"I haven't forgotten, why won't you set up one and let me know when, Whatever you choose It'll be great," He said getting dressed. I returned to my vanity frowning.

I don't know what to believe...

I ran down the hallway in a rush holding onto my bag approaching my class door frame but before I went in, I fixed my hair and clothes then opened the door as a dozen eyes turned to me,

"I'm so sorry for my tardiness kids," I say embarrassed setting my stuff down. After Jace left, I lay down on our bed crying my eyes out thinking what I did wrong then after I fell asleep,

When I came too, I was twenty minutes late for class

Every eye on me made my cheeks blush, I nervously chuckled and pulled out the students' papers that I had forgotten to grade!

"Shit!" I lowly cursed and some students laughed making me look up, They must've heard me 

"Never heard a teacher curse before?" Lighting the mood

"Um... Listen, guys, I'm not gonna sugar coat this, I'm late because I slept in late and I didn't get the chance to grade your papers so in the meantime, study the important pages in your textbooks then after you finish... Entertain yourselves, Understood?" I explained shrugging a shoulder

They looked relieved and amused by my explanation as they agreed. I sighed deeply pulled out my chair and sat down getting to work.

God this is more embarrassing and unprofessional of me. I grabbed my red pen beginning my grading.

Buzz, buzzzzz!

I sighed closing my eyes and hearing my phone vibrate so I reached inside my bag seeing a text from...

Roman, I glared opening the message

        Does your fiance know you gave me amazing head in his own bedroom?

My stomach churned letting my fingers brush against my throat deleting the message, I rubbed my forehead in stress and continued my work.

Buzz, buzzz!

I rolled my eyes looking at the text

     The next meet up will be at my place, so you can scream loud as you want ;)

I grimaced deleting the message and turning off my phone needing to focus, I ran my fingers through my hair. Can't he be any disgusting and crazier? I glanced at my students as they silently read.    

It wouldn't hurt to find out more about Roman's background, There must be a reason behind his infatuation with me.

As soon as the final bell rang, My students were already out the door but I'm happy I've got every task done today in class so im all caught up, They all did pretty well and I'm proud.

They managed to stick with our deal.

"Hey, Italy?"

I smiled looking up from my packing, at Mira

"Everything okay?" I asked

"You've seemed pretty distracted and bothered today, Are you okay?" I grinned respecting her concern for me, I've guess we grown close since I've arrived.

"I'll admit your right but it's just pre-wedding jitters, First time getting married will take a toll on you," I said giving her half the truth

Mira nods clipping her hands together "Okay, We were all curious since you were stressing but im glad it's nothing dire, See you tomorrow Italy" She waves bye exiting the room. I sighed finished packing my bag,

"More dire than you think" I mumbled leaving the room as well very relieved that school was over.

I wanted to go home and cook a nice hot dinner but I needed to think of solutions or other directions I should take to exit this Roman nightmare... But first,

I needed my coffee.

Buzz, buzz

A low grunt escapes me pulling out my cell recalling I switched it back on just before Mira paid me a visit and I opened the message,

      You look beautiful today, I just might ravish you later on ;)

I thinned my lips whisking around trying to find Roman but he was nowhere to be seen, stalking around like a ghost haunting me all day long.

Guess I am jinxed.
