Mariposa is in utter shock at seeing her ex-boyfriend. She hasn't seen him since she told him she was pregnant with Sophia. He upped and left like a quick snap of the fingers never to be seen again. His raven hair sits messily on his head as his chocolate brown eyes, that Sophia had inherited from him, scan down her body like a hungry animal looking to be sated. She backs away in fear and disgust as her hands tighten in fists.

"What are you doing here, Andrew?" She questions firmly, trying to hide her emotions in her voice.

"You look good, Mariposa." Andrew licks his lips not so subtly as he stares at her, yet to notice the child sitting in the stroller that's hidden by a small grey blanket or Matei, and ignoring her question. "It's been a few years since I last saw you."

"And you're still the same fuckboy you were when we dated. What are you doing here?" Mariposa says as Matei moves closer to her and Sophia.

Andrew sucks his teeth and rolls his eyes. "Why so tense, Mari? I don't remember you like this. You were much more carefree."

"That girl you're describing is long gone. I'm a mother now, not some stupid school girl." Mariposa spits out.

His eyes widen, glancing down at the covered child, noticing small movement in the seat. His eyes can see small strands of dark brown hair sticking from under the fabric but when the blanket is pulled away from her face, he locks eyes with little girl. Andrew feels like he's looking at a double of Mariposa with small features of him.

Sophia stares at the man curiously and slight fear as she presses herself closer against the seat. She turns her face away from his never moving gaze, and her fingers find her Cullen pendant, playing with it to distract herself from Andrew.

"You kept her? I would have thought you gave it away after you disappeared from school for those nine months." He says, looking back up at Mariposa.

"Of course, I kept her. I'm not a monster like you who left me with no help whatsoever." She tells him harshly.

"We have a daughter." Andrew says in amazement, ignoring her remark at him.

"I have a daughter. Not we." Mariposa says. "You left and when you did, you gave up every right of calling her your child. Now answer my question. What are you doing here?"

"Since you're so curious." Andrew rolls his eyes. "I'm just visiting. I'll be out of your way soon. No need for the bodyguard." He gestures to Matei, who inches closer to the brunette.

Matei chuckles softly in amusement as he shakes his head, "Her fiancé is very protective of her and their daughter. You should be glad you're facing me and not him."

Andrew looks flabbergasted at his words, his eyes wandering down to her left hand, to indeed find her white gold engagement ring sitting there proudly. Then in a sudden, his face is covered with realization and slight anger. "Their daughter?" He questions.
