Shiori's Pov
"You're late" Shikamaru says
"I know. I'm really sorry about that" I say
"Where have you been?! And where's Sasuke?!" Naruto asks
"I was taking my time getting here that's all. And don't worry too much about Sasuke" I smile
"Huh?" Naruto looks at me confusedly
"Alright. That's enough talking. It's time for your match Shiori" the proctor says
"Yes Sensei" I smile
My opponent comes down
"Come on Naruto, let's go back. And let's take the stairs" Shikamaru says as he puls Naruto's clothes
"Wait! I'm not done asking her questions yet!" Naruto struggles
"They can wait! We're not needed here" Shikamaru says
I sweat drop as I wave at them slightly
"In the middle, both of you" the proctor instructs
My opponent and I face each other. A few seconds of staring at each other, he begins blushing
"I knew you were cute but I didn't know you were way cuter in person" my opponent says
"Thanks. I get that a lot" I smile
"Um uh. Do you want to hang out after this? You know, just the two of us?" the guy asks shyly
"Oh I'm sorry, I'm taken" I smile
Disappointment and sadness shows on his face
"Of course what am I thinking? The pretty ones are always taken" he says sadly
I sweat drop and awkwardly smild and stare at the guy in front of me
Sakura's Pov
"Thank goodness Shiori's here. I was worried she might not make it" Ino sighs in relief
"Yeah" I nod
I sigh in relief too as I stare at Shiori
'Thank goodness Shiori's alright'
I look around
'But if Sasuke's not with her, where is he?'
"Begin!" the proctor yells
"Byakugan!" Shiori activates her Byakugan without missing a beat
Shiori's opponent instantly take out three kunai knives and throws them at her
Shiori dodges them effortlessly
Her opponent begins making hand signs for a Jutsu
"Whoa. Have you noticed Shiori's movements?" Ino says in amazement
"She's faster than before!" I say in surprised
"I guess her training really paid off" Ino says
"Yeah. I knew Shiori was fast but her speed increased so much. She's almost as fast as Lee!" I nod without looking away from the match in front of me
