I literally have to do my research to make sense of my idea and make it possible. I'm not entirely sure whether what I typed is right or my understanding of my research is right. But hey, this is fanfiction, let's just go along with it and make the story work)

Shiori's Pov
We stop walking

"Sasuke. I think this is far enough enough. We already passed the Hidden Leaf Village" Sakon says

"So what's up?" Sasuke asks

"Orochimaru gave us a very important task to take care of when we reach this point" Sakon replies

"What is it?" I ask

"You gonna tell us what we have to do or not?" Sasuke says

The Sound Four smirks and starts chuckling

"Before we go any further, I'm afraid you two must die just this once" Sakon says

"We must die...once?" Sasuke and I say at the same time

The wind is blowing

Sakon starts chuckling

"Let's start with Shiori, shall we?" Sakon says

"Shiori, you will take this one single pill especially made for you"

"What?" I ask in confusion

"Because Lord Orochimaru wasn't able to brand you with a seal of your own, he came up with the next best thing and slightly less painful thing. He worked hard on developing and making them. After all the trials and errors, he succeeded" Sakon explains as he hands me the small pill container

There's a small letter attached, I read it

'It contains Senjutsu Chakra, especially made Enzyme, components of awakening pills, and other substances?'

"Lord Orochimaru says you might not gain the same power as Sasuke due to your lack of the curse mark, but assures you that you will like this a lot better and the power level is just about the same. It might mess with your head for a few hours, but nothing serious or permanent" Sakon explains

"But what kind of power will she be gaining if it's not the same as mine?" Sasuke asks

"We don't know, this hasn't been done before. The pill is specially made for Shiori after all, to fit her style, Lord Orochimaru says" Sakon answers

"Then how will we know that it's safe for her to take?" Sasuke asks

"Lord Orochimaru knows what he's doing. Her lack of the curse mark puts her in a less more dangerous state than yours but what you both will go through is very much the same as her pill contains the components as the pills you'll take. In fact there are more components in her pill than yours" Sakon explains

"It's okay Sasuke, we're in this together" I smile reassuringly at Sasuke

"Shiori" Sasuke says in a whisper

I look down at the pill on my hand

'I've already gone this far. There's no turning back now. If it means I'll get more power, I want to take the risk'

"The pill will strengthen your abilities in a matter of seconds. The fact that Lord Orochimaru think you'll like the best is the enhancement of your Chakra and Chakra points that would allow you access to a new form and power. But such sudden changes will take a toll on your body"
