Amy woke up first, later that morning. She looks at Gajeel, who seems to have fallen asleep next to her. She's grateful that he isn't giving up on her, despite her being an extremely anxious, introverted and conflicted girl.
She crawls up to him a little, his embrace feels absolutely comforting. No words, no big gestures, just a simple embrace..
"Gajeel?" She whispers. It takes a second or two for him to respond. "Hm?"
"I think it's time for me to go.." She adds, instantly feeling his embrace tighten.
"I know.." His voice is trembling a little. Almost sounding like he doesn't want her to go home after all..

About an hour later Amy and Gajeel started walking to the dorm. Gajeel insisted that she would take his key with her along with the old shirt he borrowed her. He is convinced that she needs something that will comfort her right away when he isn't around.
They haven't said a word from the moment they left his house though. Amy walks a little behind Gajeel, pressing his shirt close against her chest whilst looking down to the ground. Gajeel pauses every so often so Amy could keep up, which is very unlikely to do for him. Usually he keeps up the pace because he doesn't like to wait just because someone can't keep up with him. Everything he has done so far for Amy is something he wouldn't do for just anyone.. One has to be real damn special for him to adjust this willingly.

"Will you come by at the guild tonight?" Gajeel asks as they are approaching the front door of the dorm. "Ehm.." Amy speaks, hesitating if that would be a good idea or not.
"Amy-chan!" They get disturbed by an approaching Levy and Lucy. Amy's eyes grow large and Gajeel is noticing she is in no mood to meet with anyone. "Help.." Amy whispered, almost without sound.
Gajeel turns to Levy and Lucy with a death stare, quickly followed by him placing his finger in front of his lips.
"Sshhhhh!!!"
"Huh? Gajeel?" Levy reacts surprised.
"What's wrong?" Lucy asks surprised as well.
"Amy's not feeling well. You should leave her alone right now." Gajeel speaks with a very serious and almost scary tone. He stepped in front of Amy so she wouldn't be overwhelmed by the other girls.
"Oh, get well soon Amy. Call me if you need anything, okay?" Levy says to Amy with less volume. Amy nods but the avoids any eye contact by pulling the hood of her cloak further over her head.
"See you soon Amy." Lucy adds. They head in, closing the door behind them.
Amy pulls at Gajeel's cape, standing really close to him. He turns to her.
"Thanks." She whispered. Gajeel pulls her into a quick hug.
"Anytime, tiny."

Amy could see Gajeel walking down the hill from her window. She declined his invitation..
He even pauses multiple times, then turns his head to look back at the dorm. Amy can only guess why he keeps looking back, but she'll never know until she asks him about it.
As Gajeel is now out of her sight, she decided to bathe herself. Amy locks her dorm room and opens the faucet, letting her bathtub fill up.
She lights a few candles and places them in her little bathroom. After a while, when the tub is nearly full, she closes the faucet, adds a bath bomb to the water and she turns all the lights off.

Her bathroom is now only lightened by the candles and she undresses herself. She quickly brushes her hair before stepping into the hot water. Amy relaxes instantly. It's at moments like these that she can fully understand how Juvia feels when she's surrounded by water. For Amy it's a way to ease pain, sores, bruises, mental struggles.. To calm down and to process any overwhelming events.
