Year X784, October 10th.

More than three years later, after her first job as a Fairy Tail mage..

It has been months since she left Magnolia again. She just finished her jobs in Joya and was ready to leave for Fiore. With her bags packed and the inn-keeper paid, a letter arrived. It is obvious by the stamp that it is sent from the guild, the only question left is: What's in the letter?

While having breakfast at the local bistro, she read the letter. It also contained a job in Bosco. The job is not described very impressively, but it pays good and it's on her route..

"I am highly convinced that you are fit for this job.
Kind regards,
Makarov."

It would be no use of sending a letter in return. By the time she would be back, the letter might arrive as well. She decides to go and see what the job is really about. She should make it in about a day, two days tops.
Having paid for the food and her backpack on, she started walking. It's nothing special, it's early autumn after all so she should be able to be in Bosco even sooner than planned.

Passing the border of Illa is not that easy. Illa is a small and very protective little country that isn't very welcoming towards wizards and mages. She had to unpack her entire bag and everything in it before getting in. Walking around Illa would take at least 2 days more, maybe three if things don't work out the way she planned. She is in luck though. An old and retired mage lives near the border of Illa and Bosco and he might be able to get her a ride into Bosco.

Within a few hours she arrives at his house. A small farm in the middle of nowhere. The smell of spring is overwhelming. The flowers are in bloom and the wind carries the scent of the trees. It's almost the perfect place to live. She knocks on the door, but no one is answering. She lets out a small 'Hmpf' of disappointment and walks around the farm, hoping to find her acquaintance. After an hour, still no luck. She decides to wait a little bit longer and to just doodle a bit in her sketchbook. The landscape is absolutely stunning and gives great inspiration. But as the sun starts to set it might be time to get going. He's not coming home anytime soon and she doesn't want to lose too much daylight.

'Too bad, I sure would have enjoyed seeing him again. It's been a while..' She wonders if something might have happened to him..
'Did they figure out that he's a mage? Did he expose himself?' All kinds of thoughts pass her mind. But she shouldn't. Her acquaintance is an old friend of the family, but a black sheep too. He wasn't quite the best person but when asked, he would always try to help.

As she passes the west border of Illa, she's in luck to find an inn to spent the night. She pays the innkeeper, receives a key and leaves for her room. It's not much, but there is a bed, a bathroom and a window with a nice view. She decided to write a letter to her acquaintance, and deliver it personally first thing in the morning. Most of the letter contains data of where she can be found the next couple of weeks and a request to sent her a letter back as soon as possible. It's not a long letter, so after finishing it she takes a bath and gets ready to sleep. But sleep is nowhere to be found as she gets hung up in her own thoughts.

Moonlight is shining directly into her room and the heavens are clear, revealing the stars in every direction.
"Maybe I should stay in Fiore for a while after this job.." She grabs her blanket and walks to her window. Small villages can be seen from where she's standing. Only a few lights are on.
"The world is already asleep.." but she can't help but feel like something is calling for her. Or maybe it's a someone. She closes her eyes.
'Maybe it's the moon..' but as soon as she thinks that, a grin appears. She turns away from the window, closing the curtains behind her.
"No, it can't be.."
