Week after Gray left.

AGAPE never thought that one day, she would sign company documents, not her books.

She's the acting CEO. Her husband informed it to her in the last minute. Halos gusto niyang hampasin ang lalaki dahil 'dun. Pero siyempre, hindi naman niya kaya.

It's been two days since he left. God knows how much hard for her the last two days is. She can't sleep, she's so worried. Hindi niya alam kung anong mali sa pakiramdam niya. Nag-aalala lang siya.. nababahala.

"Lunch?" Sia and Laura opened the office. Napatingin naman siya sa ginagawa at nakitang marami pang nakatambak. But she also didn't eat breakfast. Dumaan lang sila ni Red sa Starbucks kanina pero hindi naman siya kumain.

She was about to say yes when her phone rangs. She gestured to the girls to wait for her to answer the call. They excused theirselves after that.

She automatically smiled when she saw the caller id. The only man who can make her heart flutter effortlessly. The only man who can make her stood in wonder.

"Lunch?" bungad nito. Napatawa naman siya. He was like her living reminder. Lagi itong tumatawag, tatanungin siya kung nakakain na. Magagalit kung hindi pa, at maya-maya lang, kung ano-anong pagkain na ang dumadating.

"I was about too, " she answered.

"Good, " he softly said. "How are you?" he asked.

"Kelan ka uuwi?" Hindi niya pinansin ang tanong nito. Why would he ask her that? Of course, she's not fine!

"Hmm. You miss me?"

Napairap siya sa sinabi nito. Malamang, oo. Ilang beses na nga niyang iniyakan!

"I'm sorry, " he whispered.

Napakagat-labi siya. Agape, masyado kang maarte! She talk to herself.

"Ayos lang ako, " agad niyang isinagot. "Si Abuela, how is she?"

"She's doing fine. She misses you, " sagot nito.

Napangiti siya.

"Ikaw? Are you eating well?" she asked.

She heard the other line chuckled. "I think, " he simply answered. "Go, eat. I'll call you again later, okay?"

She suddenly felt lonely. "Alright.. " she said in a low voice.

He sighed. "Just few more days, baby. You can keep with it, right?"

Wala sa sarili siyang napatango kahit alam naman niyang hindi naman 'yun makikita ng lalaki. She can wait. It's just the sadness.. who's her foe. But it's fine, if he's the one she will wait.

"Okay, " tipid niyang sabi. "Baba ko na, ha?"

"Don't cry.. " ang huling sinabi nito bago niya Ibinaba ang tawag.

Napabuntung-hininga siya at bahagyang inayos ang damit. She was wearing a white retro cotton blouse shirt in vintage style and a black pleated high waist trouser. She just let her hair down, as usual.

"Si Clara at Kiko?" she asked Sia while they're walking to the cafeteria's direction.

"Nauna na. Ayaw maunahan sa lamesa, e. Akala mo naman mauubusan, " Sia rolled her eyes. Napatawa na lang siya.

She felt suddenly conscious when everyone eyed her when she enter the cafeteria. Hindi na 'yun bago sa kan'ya. Simula nang malaman nilang ikinasal ang boss nila sa sa kan'ya, halos lahat na ng taong madadaanan niya ay walang hiyang titingin sa kan'ya.
