BEE POV

***

MARCH 10TH

Dream's manhunt was scheduled for Tuesday afternoon, so I had someone cover my shift at the pizza place. When I got back from class around noon, I immediately hopped into the discord that Dream had invited me into, sending out a quick "hi!".

Instantly I had a few people tell me to go into the voice channel, to which I obliged.

"Hello?" I said hesitantly, staring at the small list of names. I saw a BadBoyHalo, a GeorgeNotFound, a Dream, and a Sapnap. What kind of weird names were these?

"HEY!! HI BEE!" I heard Dream's familiar voice yell at me. I laughed. He was the only voice I recognized amongst the others, probably cause it was the only person I'd actually watched a few videos to.

"Hi!" I said, focusing on the "Sapnap" name. I recognized it—I think that was the same person I raided a while back. "How are you?"

Everyone began talking at once.

"Okay, lemme introduce everyone, then we can get started. So hi, I'm Dream, aka Clay. GeorgeNotFound is George, Sapnap is Nick, and BadBoyHalo is Darryl, but we usually just go by our usernames."

"Ok, so, Clay, George, Nick, Darryl. Cool! I know a Nick," I commented, thinking back to my tinder husband.

That reminded me to text him back. We'd been talking all morning but I'd accidentally left him on read after I got out of class.

I shot him a quick message and turned my attention back to discord.

"Ok, I've got a world set up, y'all want to go ahead and join? I'll start streaming in 3...2...1!"

I got a notification on Twitch that said that Dream had started to stream. He'd labeled it "Manhunt with Bad, George, Sapnap, and BEE!"

I smiled.

As the hunters and I surrounded Dream, he switched from his waiting screen to his Minecraft screen and began to start his intro.

"Alright guys, we've got a new hunter with us today! Bee, AKA Buzzy from twitch!" Dream and his friends awkwardly applauded me.

"Ahah, hi! It's so great be here with y'all!" I said in my southern Texan accent.

"Alright you guys," Dream said, turning around and eyeing the lot of us with his weird, blobby character before hitting me and taking off running.

"Oh! Oh he's going!!" I yell, chasing him with the other three behind me.

We laughed as we ran after Dream, and all my negative thoughts about being too tired of my routine seemed to dissipate.

Dream screamed in victory as he released the finishing kill on the dragon.

"No!!" I yelled, banging my head on my desk. "FUCK!"

He laughed victoriously and I groaned along with Sapnap and George. BadBoyHalo only yelled "language" at me. I grinned.

"Alright, you guys, that was epic but I have succeeded once again!"

I rolled my eyes.

"How did you even manage half of those clutches, dude? Absolutely insane!!"

"It's called a hustle, sweetheart," he teased.

"Oh God, don't say that. There's gonna be fanfics within minutes." I muttered. "Alright, I guess I'm gonna hop off."

"You gonna join our next hunt?" Bad—or Darryl, I guess—asked sweetly.

"Ah, I think that's up to y'all, but it was real great to do this with you!" I laughed and checked my phone, seeing a new message from Nick—tinder Nick, not 'SaPnAp' Nick.

I disconnected from the call and flopped onto my bed, eagerly texting him back.

-Nick:
Hey!

-Elisabeth:

-Nick:
It was great:)

-Nick:
You know you look really familiar

-Elisabeth:
Oh, really? Do you think maybe we went to the same school or something?

-Nick:

-Elisabeth:

-Elisabeth:
Never have been, never will be

-Nick:

-Elisabeth:

-Nick:

-Elisabeth:

-Nick:

-Elisabeth:

-Nick:

-Elisabeth:

-Elisabeth:

Kayla would've been proud of me flirting even just a little bit. I smiled and turned my phone off, going to take a shower before getting ready for bed.

It was already March, and I was more than ready for the semester to be over. I would have the whole summer of doing nothing but streaming and working, and maybe even dating. I was looking forward to it.
