Elmira twinkled her fingers around sending snowflakes into the air as her control improved ever so slightly. Riven watched in awe at the girl's abilities feeling grateful he could now call the blonde beauty his girlfriend. Even though the pair were currently relaxing in his dorm room with Beatrix the blonde was still dressed to impress - light denim shorts paired with a black lace bodysuit and a black blazer complete with a gorgeous pendant necklace.

The blonde girl's snowflakes soon morphed into snow as she played around with the limits of her abilities whilst her best friend sat on the floor scrolling through her phone and the second-year specialist lay on his back admiring his girl before leaning over and speaking to Beatrix. "What are you obsessing over?". His voice caught Elmira's attention as she sat up and moved to the edge of the bed with Riven. "Ah... Bloom?" He questioned as he saw the air fairy scrolling through the red-head's Instagram. "Still?" Elmira added, looking towards her best friend wondering what the sudden increased interest was.

"Your boyfriend's fault for spreading it around that she's a changeling. She's now the most interesting person at school." Beatrix responded rather abruptly causing her best friend to wonder what was going on, ever since the party she's been acting off and for some reason she hadn't shared why with the blonde girl yet. "They'll move on in a couple days. They'll forget." Riven replied rather awkwardly, noticing the shift in the room's tensions as he sat up and rested his hand on Elmira's thigh, it was colder than usual as she had begun practicing her magic every spare second she had but he didn't mind. "I won't." Beatrix whispered softly, her intense stare never leaving her phone before she got up and stormed out the door leaving the confused couple behind.

"Do you know what that was about?" Riven questioned as he watched his girlfriend stare at the door in shock. "Surprisingly no." Elmira replied honestly, her voice shaking slightly as she tried to figure out what had changed within her best friend in a matter of weeks. "I'm going to find out though." The blonde girl added knowing she wouldn't be able to drop the conversation even if she tried. "It's alright, I'll see you at lunch?" Riven confirmed receiving a nod from his girlfriend causing him to smile, kissing her on the lips before she picked up her bag and walked out the door in search of her best friend.

Luckily for the blonde she didn't have to look far, rounding the corner and finding her best friend sitting on the phone completely oblivious to the world around her. "Spill. What's going on?" Elmira questioned the air fairy, taking her phone out of her hands so she had no choice but to reply. "I'm fine." Beatrix replied, her tone short as she grabbed her phone from the blonde girl's grip and stormed off towards their suite. "And I'm the Easter Bunny. Spill."

The air fairy rolled her eyes at her best friend before slamming the door shut once they reached their suite. Minutes passed by as Elmira stared at her best friend with worry, asking her again what was going on. "I killed Callum okay? Is that what you wanted to hear?" The confession took the blonde by surprise. "W-what are you talking about? When? What happened?". Beatrix sighed as she sat down on the lounge knowing she couldn't hide it from her best friend any longer.
