Aurelia's POV
I got the letter. Read it twice and then again. Something was wrong but... what? What could've possibly been wrong?! The letter was dated for days ago yet it just arrived this second by bird!
But that's the thing... it was dated the same day as the letter about my sister. This wasn't right. At all.
"Aurelia? Auri! We have to leave now!" Kyle was calling from outside my room. It was nearly 8 pm, and we had people waiting for us. Even in thunder and rain, we were still leaving like we planned.
I looked down at my bracelet. My father had made it before I was born, and my mother gave it to me when I was little. It represented trust between us.
Trust I no longer felt existed.
"Aurelia, we have to-" He stopped as soon as he opened the door, seeing the tear that rolled down my cheek. "Hey, is everything alright?"
"Yeah, everything's fine." I rolled up the letter and shoved it into my drawer. "Let's just go."
"Everything doesn't seem fine. Is everything okay at home?" He asked as I grabbed my bag and zipped it up.
"Yeah, they're okay." I began walking out and he followed me hesitantly, not asking anymore questions. I think he understood I could answer nothing. But that just wasn't it.
Bazz's POV
"And the two of you thought you could get away with everything." Aiko paced back and forth in front of Sidon and I. Somehow this woman managed to get us both tied up while Muzu managed to actually hide. "Where are my guards? My army? My brother?" She leaned over Sidon's chair and he sighed.
"Why would we tell you?" He asked, and she grunted.
"Because I'll kill you if you don't." She crossed her arms and we both looked at each other.
"Then do it." I said bluntly. "Kill us. The only people who know where the others are." This made her more angry.
"What use are you to me if you won't tell me anyways? Why don't I just kill you?"
"Because the very small piece of sanity you have won't let you." Sidon shrugged, and she turned around and started walking away.
"I will figure it out." She huffed and walked away. We just sat there hoping Muzu at least found somewhere safe enough to go for the time being.
Muzu's POV
As long as King Sidon and Captain Bazz were safe, we could continue our plan safely. Lady _____ had already sent me a letter letting me know they all arrived at Kakariko village, so all that was left now was finding the princess.
I saw some paper on the ground nearby though, so I walked over to it. And there was a letter regarding Aurelia leaving Hyrule.
I figured Sidon or Bazz had already seen it, but I assumed since the pen on the floor was Dorephan's, Sidon had been the one to see it. So I went to confirm the information with his majesty.
I raced to where they were, careful to check for Aiko, and then I rushed inside.
"Where's King Sidon?" I asked as I only saw Bazz tied up on the floor.
"Aiko took him with her to leave the domain in search of the others. She said that one of us had one chance to say where the others were, and Sidon spoke up and said they were in the Hebra region." He was trembling and I could see his golden eyes getting slightly glassy. "Muzu... he could die if she finds out they aren't and we're too late."
"We need to get him. I-" I looked out at the bridge to see they were still jhst crossing it. "They haven't left yet!" I began running down, but Bazz stopped me.
"No! Muzu! This is dangerous!" He yelled, and I just turned around slowly.
"I promised Dorephan and his queen to protect their children. I may have already failed to do so for Lady Mipha, but I won't fail King Sidon." I continued rushing down, and I could hear Bazz almost say something but not finish.
Sidon's POV
She led me down the bridge, and I knew something would happen. Some kind of miracle. And... well, almost.
I suddenly heard guardians and a couple familiar calls.
"We're here!" Purah and Robbie came in with a bunch of guardians to follow them. They all aimed at Aiko but she managed to avoid them all.
Dodging the guardians and Purah and Robbie, eventually she just couldn't take it and poofed away. And then poofed back on the other side of the bridge.
"You all think you can defeat me! Not that easily!" She laughed deviously, and we all stood there not knowing what to do. That's when another voice cut in.
"King Sidon!" Muzu ran over and pushed through us all, continuing towards Aiko.
"Muzu!" I gasped, and he stopped about halfway in between us.
"Leave us in peace!" He shouted, and Aiko went blank for a minute before giggling more.
"Really? You want to fight me or something?" She scoffed, and he seemed to back down a bit. But then she threw her sword at Muzu.
"MUZU!" I yelled, and I really thought that was it. So I closed my eyes. But no yells pierced my ears. It was only silence. So I opened them. To see my sister standing in front of Muzu, Aiko's sword in her hand.
"Muzu..." She started, glaring at Aiko. "You never failed me." That's when the ground started to shake, and we all looked up to see Vah Ruta, ready to strike. "Ruta, Aurelia, NOW!"
And with that, Ruta aimed it's laser right at Aiko and...
BOOM
Everything flashed right before me as the realizations soon set in.
