Day of Halloween -
"Wakey wakey eggs and bakey! Happy halloweeeen!" Aurelia called in attempt to wake you and Sidon up. But with no luck. "Guys, it's the holiday you've been waiting for!" Still nothing. "Mom! Dad! Get up or... or else!"
"Or else what...?" Sidon groaned, refusing to open his eyes since the room was now really bright thanks to Aurelia having opened all the blinds.
"Or I'll... y-you'll see!" The young red head huffed and ran downstairs. Sidon sat up, holding your hand to pull you up with him.
"Alright... I guess we should get up. Or else I fear our daughter will leave us with no choice." He kissed your forehead and stretched out before getting out of bed and heading to the bathroom. You sat in bed a while longer, not wanting to get up.
"Honey, why don't we just lock the door and go back to bed? Surely Aurelia can't really threaten us. Besides, we deserve to sleep in." You rubbed your eyes and smoothed the spot where Sidon had slept, hoping he would agree and go back to bed.
"Well..." He thought on it for a moment, replaying the scene in his head to decide if she could've been serious in any way. Then he walked to the door and locked it, and then back over to you.
You held your arms open for him and he happily went in for the hug. You gently stroked his tail and embraced his warmth. Your soft breathing against his scales calmed him, and he started planting kisses on your jawline and neck.
Eventually, you laid down and Sidon gave you a massage. He knew every spot and how to relieve every knot. He knew where you liked it gentle and where he needed to add some pressure.
"Thank you, love..." You whispered once he finished, rolling over on your back and slowly opening your eyes to a relaxed and tired looking Sidon.
"Anything for you." He leaned down to kiss you, but as soon as your lips met a loud noise broke it quickly.
*BOOM*
"What the-"
"DON'T SAY I DIDN'T WARN YOU TWO!" Aurelia yelled from outside. You and Sidon leaped out of bed and ran outside to the balcony to see the purple and orange smoke rising above the domain.
"You blew it up without us?!" Sidon gasped, staring down at the crowd surrounding the source as well as Bazz and Aurelia.
"Sorry." The sarcastic teen replied, a smug grin plastered on her face.
"We told you we would wait until EVERYBODY was here. And then you go ahead and do it without two of the most important people." You tried to figure out if this was actually the threat she had in mind.
"Actually princess, blowing up the Great Halloween party bomb without the king and queen shouldn't go without consequences." Muzu chuckled and nodded, stepping up closer to the pedestal Bazz was on.
"And not to mention without your little brother or sister." You added as you leaned over the edge of the railing.
"And the three of us!" Zelda and Link came running across the bridge, obviously having seen and heard the whole ordeal.
"Three?" You and Sidon said in unison, watching Link and Zelda stop just before the cannon.
"Yeah, about that..." Link panted, putting his arm over Zelda's shoulders. "We actually have an announcement." Link let a few second pause before he and Zelda both exclaimed "We're having a baby!"
"Really?!" You exclaimed, your excitement already rising.
"Yes! We found out last week and waited to tell you all." Zelda's expression was glowing brighter than the triforce and Link was beaming himself.
"Congratulations!" Sidon shouted as everybody began clapping. Zelda and Link ran upstairs to you and Sidon and you hugged the mother to be.
"Hey, now we're gonna have kids the same age!" You both smiled and held each other's hands while Link and Sidon laughed and just watched the two of you in your own world of excitement.
The rest of the day was spent with all of you just enjoying the holiday and having some fun. And with the new expectancy of two new royals; One for the Hylians, one for the Zora's.
