Chapter 24: Reunited

Your POV

"_____, good luck. Please be safe love." You nodded and Sidon kissed you and hugged you.

"You be careful too. I love you." You sighed, adjusting his feather.

"I love you more." He gave you one last hug before heading off. You finished getting ready, and then it was off for battle.

"_____?" You heard the same soft voice and saw the same bright light you saw almost 2 decades ago. The bright light faded, allowing your eyes to relax and focus on the blue ceiling that came into view. As well as all the designs and jewels that adorned it.

You were lifted out of the water by muscular red arms and held close to the person's chest. You couldn't even think about how quickly you made the realization. It was Sidon.

"S-Sidon?" You looked up to see your husband looking right back at you with a sweet smile and his golden eyes glowing. You thought for a moment and then all of the memories came flooding back to you. Sidon let a tear run down his cheek and you gasped.

"You're okay! D-Did you guys manage to kill Ganon? Where's Aurelia?! And Link and Zelda?!" All of these questions spilled out of your mouth and Sidon chuckled a bit, pushing your wet hair out of your face.

"Dear, it's okay. Ganon's been defeated, and Aurelia, Link and Zelda are all safe. They're all here with Muzu, actually." Sidon lifted you up over his shoulder so you could see the four of them standing by the entrance. Aurelia looked at you as if you were some kind of goddess standing before her.

"Thank Hylia all of your are safe!" You smiled and looked over your daughter. She was so much taller, and looked a lot older. "How long have I been here? Please tell me it hasn't been a century." Sidon laughed and kissed your cheek.

"It's only been about four years, Lady _____." Muzu nodded with a small smile. You remembered the days when he wasn't so excited about you being queen, But that changed over time, especially when Sidon got trapped.

"Sidon, how long have you been free?" You asked, gently cupping his cheeks. His tail wagged slightly and you giggled.

"O-Only less than a day darling." Sidon said, hoping that with your hands on his cheeks you couldn't see him blushing, But you did anyways, and giggled a bit at the adorable expression on his face, "I've only been at the domain for about 20 minutes. I got to see Aurelia and the others, before heading down here to get you."

"Mmm, is that so..." You breathed out, gently gliding your thumb across his cheek bone. "I've missed you."

Before Sidon had anytime to respond, you pulled him into a kiss. You could hear Aurelia take a deep breath and Sidon gently rubbed your back.

"I've missed you too. So so so so much." He hugged you and you rested your head on his shoulder, both arms wrapped around his neck. You looked at your daughter, who was covering her mouth and tears were streaming down her face. Her red hair was a bit wet, but just as bright as it was the last time you saw her. And her eyes mirrored yours. Muzu always said she was a perfect mix of both you and Sidon, and he was right.

Sidon put you down and you walked over to the young teen. She took a few slow steps before just running into your arms. Sidon wrapped his arms around the both of you, and Link and Zelda waited a few moments before joining the hug. Muzu was hesitant but you and Sidon insisted. The six of you stayed like that for a while, enjoying the first moment you had as a family all together. It was perfect.
