~8 Years Later~

Aurelia's POV

I was just taking a stroll through the Lanayru to take my mind off of everything that's been happening. Everyone's been expecting more of me lately, I had just barely turned fourteen.

These last four years, it's just been me and Muzu. He's raised me since I was ten, since the last attack on Ganon. All of my other relatives; my parents, and their friends, the king and queen of Hyrule, are all trapped.

Link, the king of hyrule, has been in the shrine of resurrection I heard since before I was even born. He's supposed to be the hero.

Zelda, the queen of hyrule, has been holding Ganon down under the castle since before I was born too. We mostly repaired the castle, but had no way to save her yet.

My father, King Sidon of Zora's domain, has been trapped in Vah Ruta since I was a child. Muzu told me he's still alive, but just trapped.

And my mother, Queen _____ of Zora's domain, has been in the shrine of resurrection since her second attack - four years after my father got trapped - failed. Someone who was desperately needed to defeat Ganon.

Apparently, they all thought Link was waking up so they rushed in to attack. But he didn't, and they learned that too late.

Now my duty is trying to take care of Hyrule and Zora's domain in place of the four of them. It's really hard, but I have to push through. For them. Link and Zelda. And especially, my mom and dad.

"Aurelia! You're home! How was the meeting at Hyrule?" Muzu asked as I walked in the domain. I froze.

"Wait... OH MY - Muzu I'm sorry! It completely went over me!" I flipped out and ran to get my sword.

"It's alright, Aurelia." He sighed. "They'll understand you're busy, and stressed." I gave him a quick hug before leaving again for the castle.

"Dangit, dangit, dangit!" I mumbled under my breath as I walked down the path. The nearest stable was Wetland, so this would be a while.

"What's wrong, princess?" I was startled by the voice behind so I pulled out my sword and turned around quickly. The boy didn't seem scared.

"Who are you?!" I practically yelled, and he gently pushed my sword away.

"Well, my name is Kyle, and I'm a royal guard of Hyrule." I looked him up and down, still tense and not ready to put my sword away just yet.

"Very well. I'm Princess Aurelia, but you can just call me Aurelia." He held his hand out for me to shake, and I was hesitant but did.

"Are you off to the castle?" He asked as we continued walking.

"Yes actually I am, I'm late for a meeting." He nodded and I finally put my sword away.

"Well, maybe we should go together." He suggested, a small smile on his lips.

"That sounds... like a good idea. Thank you." We walked to Hyrule Castle together, mainly in silence. He talked to me a bit, asking about my family. The only person I could give any real answers about was my mother.
