Merry Christmas Eve! :)
"Sidon, could you help me?" You asked, trying to reach up to get a box of cookies.
"Oh! _____, be careful!" He rushed over and grabbed it, placing it down on the counter. He lifted you off the chair you were standing on and set you on the ground. "Don't strain yourself."
"Oh, come on Sidon. I'm not having that many problems." You started walking towards the tree and Sidon ran over to grab you. "Hey!"
"You could've slipped! The floor is wet there!" He set you down on the large blue couch and you looked back up at his slight frustration.
"I'm sorry." You said, looking down at your hands. He sighed.
"No, it's not your fault. I'm sorry for snapping." He kissed your head and held your hands. "It's just... you being pregnant again and all, you know I only want to keep you safe. And besides, you-"
"I wasn't this stubborn when I was with Aurelia. I know." You mocked him and he chuckled a bit.
"Now, that's not what I was going to say." He sat down next to you and kissed your cheek before nuzzling his face into your neck, also kissing you while he was there.
"Muzu!" You heard Aurelia call as she walked in.
"Aurelia?" You both turned around to see her standing at the door in her battle gear, holding a bunch of papers.
"Oh! Hey guys! Have you seen Muzu? We needed to have a meeting."
"Regarding what?" Sidon asked, getting up from the couch and helping you as well.
"Vah Ruta. He told me he would be waiting in his chambers before we left to meet with the guards but he wasn't there."
"I'll go ask Bazz." Sidon left to find Bazz, leaving you to question where your teenager had been all day.
"Aurelia," you started, walking towards her. "Why do you have your battle gear on? And what's with all of these meetings?"
"I was just training with Kyle and Ryan. We went out to defeat the last of the lynels. And the meetings are all for good reasons. Vah Ruta, the well being of the kingdom, helping bring everything back together again. Ya know. Stuff." She looked down at her watch and then to the papers. "Well, I better go help father find Muzu. Or then we'll both be late." She quickly hugged you and ran back to the door. "Bye mom!" And with that, she was gone as quickly as she arrived.
"This is really getting to everyone, isn't it." You sighed to yourself, sitting back down on the couch. "You see where I'm coming from, right?" You ran your hand over your stomach, wishing your child could hear you. "Of course you do. I just hope everyone else will too." You closed your eyes and let yourself fall asleep until Lyla came to get you for dinner.

"Merry Christmas eve, everyone!" Sidon held up his glass and everyone copied. "Let's hope this upcoming year will be better for us all, and everything can be at peace once more!" Everyone agreed and cheered, and then started eating.
"My, someone's hungry." Sidon laughed, looking at Aurelia.
"This is my first meal today aside from the small breakfast I had. Don't judge me." You both laughed and started cutting through your food.
"So, _____, what are we gonna do for our 'Christmas vacation' this year? Rito village like last time? Or perhaps Lurelin village?" Sidon asked, slicing his fish in half.
"How about we just sleep?" You suggested, picking up your glass and drinking some of the cider.
"If you say so. But next year, I think we should go to the Faron region. It sounds like a fun trip."
"Indeed it does. But you know I'm not kidding about just sleeping right?" Sidon laughed and rustled your hair.
"Do we have a Christmas party bomb? Ya know, like the one we had on Halloween because this time I-"
"No." You and Sidon said in unison, and while sounding stern you both had smiles on your faces.
"Aw, but why?" She pouted. "I wanted to-"
"Nope." You both repeated, and laughed as she pouted some more.
"I think after this, we should take it to the castle so she doesn't see it." Sidon joked to you, whispering but saying it loud enough so he knew Aurelia heard him.
"Hey! I'm right here, ya know!" She folded her arms and you still found the situation completely amusing.
