Chapter 14: The Attack Plan

You woke up in the medics, tired and confused. You looked around at the small room, wondering what had happened. Someone walked in.

"Oh good, you're awake. How are you feeling?" She asked as she turned a dim light on.

"What happened?" You asked, shaking your head and looking yourself over.

"Kass flew you over Hyrule and you just fainted, so he-"

"Zelda." You blurted. "She's in Hyrule Castle."

"What?" The zora tried to help you out of bed and then you just walked back to the throne room as if nothing had just happened.

"Muzu!" You shouted. "We need to make an attack plan! Zelda's in Hyrule Castle, Sidon, Teba, Riju and Yunobo are in the Divine Beasts and we need to find Link!" Muzu just looked at you, almost frightened. You rarely snapped at anyone and especially not at the elders but this was different. Lives were at stake and even in the condition you were in, you had to do something.

"My queen, there's only so much we can do right now. Please be pa-" You cut him off before he could tell you to be patient.

"Your king is out there! My husband! This child's father! And you're about to tell me to be patient!?" You went on and on about how Muzu had never understood how you saw being a ruler. You just stormed out and went back to your room.

As much as you hated to admit it, you knew you couldn't do a thing without Muzu's help. Not now anyways.

"Queen _____." You recognized that voice. Kass.

"Yes?"

"I think there's something you should see." You grabbed your sword and ran out of your room. Kass flew you back over Hyrule.

"What's going on?" You asked, looking out at the wetlands ahead.

"We came up with an attack plan. Since Queen Zelda is in the castle, and we don't know where Link is, we were going to have the Divine Beasts unleash a strike more powerful than ever, and then some of our best guards would weaken him. Then we would send you in with the Master Sword since we managed to find it's location, and you would do the final blow and wouldn't get hurt. But when Impa told the successors, they wouldn't listen and..." He trailed off after this and it didn't take you that long to figure it out.

"Did they...?" You looked out at the castle to see the destruction even worse than before.

"The four of them went to fight Ganon alone."
