Sidon's POV
"Are you ready to go?" _____ called from outside the bathroom door. I could hear her heels against the floor as she walked around our room looking for her necklace.
"Almost dear!" I put my feather on my head - a much larger one than when I was still the prince - and reached for the door handle but then I saw something sparkle in the corner of my eye. _____'s necklace!
"Oh!" I grabbed it and opened the door just to see that _____ wasn't in the room anymore. But our door was wide open. "_____?" I called her name a few times as I walked out. To be met with a sight I never expected.
The entire yiga clan was at the domain.
"Sidon!" She exclaimed as I ran towards the balcony where she was walking and held my arms out. "Sidon, I-"
"What are you doing?! Be careful! This is the yiga clan!" I whispered harshly, picking her up. She just stared at me blankly, then let her expression slowly become worry.
"Honey, it's okay. Bazz told me that they're here to sign an agreement." She cupped my cheek and gently stroked it, but I grabbed her wrist and pulled it down, letting my hand slide down with it to hold her own.
"What kind of agreement?" My tone was still somewhat aggressive, but I wasn't angry with her. The confusion and overall fear took me over, and I shouldn't have let that happen. But she rarely saw me angry if ever, so... she wasn't too calm about it herself. And I couldn't blame her at all.
"Sidon, calm down! I know what I'm doing." She sighed, looking at the ground and then back at me. I put her down and she grabbed my wrist and we walked down to the entrance where the leader was.
"Ah, there you two are." Bazz gave a small bow as _____ and I arrived.
"Bazz, we're already late to the ceremony at Hyrule for Link and Zelda. Could this possibly wait?" I asked, looking at the small army.
'What if it isn't all of them?' I pondered.
"Lady Aurelia sent a letter back informing us that the event has been postponed until tomorrow, and that she'll be staying at Hyrule until then." Muzu nodded, hands behind his back as usual. _____ shot him a look and I didn't know what it meant until she spoke.
"Alright. But Muzu, you can just address her as 'Aurelia'. She may be royalty, but it isn't necessary for you. Or Bazz even." Her hand gestures were becoming a lot, and they had been all day. So I reached out and held the hand closest to me, which actually calmed her down a bit.
"It's a formality, Miss _____." He nodded again and turned to look at Bazz. _____ sighed and leaned her head against my side, so I released my grip on her hand and wrapped my arm around her.
"King Sidon, Queen _____, Sir Muzu, this is Aiko." Bazz motioned towards the person in front of the group, who was removing their mask. As soon as they took it off, long locks of curly, tawny hair fell down the person's shoulders, and two dark blue eyes became visible.
"Sorry for the short notice of our visit, but my brother said we shouldn't have held this off much longer." She held her hand out with a smile, and _____ shook it, returning the smile.
"It's quite alright. So are you Kogha's daughter?" Aiko handed Bazz a small stack of papers and a pen, and then shook her head.
"No, I'm his niece. My mother was his wife's sister, and she was trying to do good for the group. All Kogha wanted was Master Link dead and Ganon reincarnated. I do believe I had cousins, but they were killed some time ago. They were just as bad as their father." She clenched her fists with her words, looking back at a member and gesturing them to come towards the front. The soldier jogged to Aiko's side and removed their mask.
"Hey." The boy said, shaking his head, making his jet black hair even messier. He had lighter blue eyes than Aiko though. "I'm Timothy."
"This is my younger brother. We lead the clan together." Bazz handed her back the papers and she then handed them to me. "And... these are the papers we need you to sign. If you're willing to make an agreement with us." I looked at the papers and nodded, signing my name. _____ then signed her name and we handed the papers back to Aiko and she put them back in her bag, and both she and Timothy shook everyone's hands before leaving again.
Well, I guess _____ and I get to go back to bed.
