Chapter 8: Oh Well...

"_____?! Sidon?!" You woke up startled to Link's voice.

"Oh... um... Hey?" You hopped off the bed and walked over to Link.

"What are you doing?!"

"I was just... S-Sidon and I were -"

"We're a couple now." Sidon blurted out without even turning to face you two.

"You what?!"

"Link! Calm down!" You grabbed his wrist and led him out of the room.

"What are you doing!?"

"Okay look, I confessed to Sidon last night and -"

"You like Sidon?!"

"LINK! What are you screaming about at 5 am?!" Zelda exclaimed as she ran down the hall.

"If I'm screaming, you should be able to hear what I'm saying then!"

"All I heard was something about Sidon! Is he okay?"

"Apparently these two are a couple!"

"Wait, is that what you're yelling about?"

"Yes!"

Zelda's hand shot to her mouth as she burst out laughing. Link looked at her confused.

"What!? What's so funny?!"

"I know they're a couple, Link!"

"You knew about this?! A-And you didn't tell me?!"

"Why should I have?"

"Because this is my best friend! Shouldn't I have known!?"

"Well sure. But the whole confession deal literally happened last night." You shrugged.

"But still! Zelda, a word please?" Link took Zelda down the hall and down the stairs. You walked back into Sidons room and his golden eyes were staring right into yours.

"So Link isn't okay with this?"

"No, he's not."

"Don't let him get you down, _____. It's just that we all grew up together, this is just sudden."

"You're right. Well, I have a couple things I should get to now that I'm up, so you just rest Sidon. I'll be back soon."

"Okay..." Sidon groaned and went back to sleep and you ran to find Link and Zelda before staring with work, training and errands.

"Link! Zelda!" You called as you ran down to the dining room. They weren't there. You ran out to the garden, and there they were bickering by the fountain.

"You need to stop invading into their lives. If this is what they want, let them have it!" Zelda put her hands on her hips. Link copied her.

"Well excuuuuuuse me, princess-" Zelda pushed Link into the fountain and you burst out laughing. Link emerged from the water and shook his head.

"It's Queen, thank you very much."
Zelda turned and walked away with sass. You were still laughing as Link got out of the water.

"Am I gonna get to do that to you?" He asked.

"No, because if Sidon and I get married, we'll become King and Queen immediately." You giggled as Link rustled your hair and walked out after Zelda.
