Chapter 12: Together this Evening

You were just pondering in you're room about what to do. You had just found out you were pregnant, and you had absolutely no idea how to tell Sidon. Muzu and Bazz already knew. And they also knew not to say a word until Sidon did.

"What am I gonna do?" You groaned into your pillow. Zelda put her hand on your back.

"It'll be okay, _____. You act like he's gonna be angry."

"I know he won't, but we've both been so busy lately, that I'm sure we've both figured this is an inconvenient time to have a baby."

"I know. But it'll be fine. Trust me."

"You're right."

"Come in." Zelda answered to the knock on the door you didn't even hear.

"Hey, _____. Are you doing okay?" Link asked as he walked in and sat down next to you.

"I'm fine..."

"Sidon will be happy when you tell him. We promise." Link gave you a smile and you smiled back at him before burying your face back in your pillow.

You fell asleep right then, and woke up a while later to a dark room. You looked around. Link and Zelda weren't there. Sidon wasn't either. Or so you thought.

"You're awake." Your head shot to your closet door, and there was Sidon.

"How long was I out?"

"I don't know, I just got back. But Link and Zelda came to me a few hours ago saying you weren't feeling that well, but Muzu made me stay for another meeting since they said you were asleep."

"Oh."

"Are you sick? What's going on love?" Sidon cupped your cheek in his hand, and you leaned into it, loving his touch.

"No, I-I've just been exhausted lately, and missing you."

"Aw, well I'm here now. I'm all yours." He kissed your head and once he was in bed and comfortable, he pulled you close to his chest. You relaxed, and the room was only silence for a while. Until you realized that there couldn't have been a better time to tell him.

"Sidon?" You whispered, unsure if he was even still awake.

"Yes love?"

"How would you feel if I told you... you were going to be a father?"

"I would be ecstatic. Probably showering you with affection, while also trying to contain the excitement."

"Really?"

"Well of course, I- wait, why are you asking?"

"Well, because -"

"Are you pregnant?" You nodded and Sidon's eyes widened. He hugged you and kissed you. I guess he wasn't lying.

"Suprise!" You giggled and he kissed your cheek before kissing your stomach and then your lips.

"I'm sorry, I-"

"Don't be." You smiled as he moved you so you were laying on his chest. He rubbed your back until you fell back asleep, and then he fell asleep too. That went better than expected. But of course, it's Sidon. What else would you have expected from him?
