Chapter 10: Forevermore

Sidon's POV

I woke up early in the morning, I believe it was four. _____ had been out at Hyrule Castle for the past two weeks, she left right after the huge storm blew over. Since she was supposed to come home today, I wanted to do something to suprise her. But what...?

I went downstairs to get some breakfast, and Bazz came over and joined me.

"So, _____ is supposed to return today right?"

"Yes, and I want to do something special for her, but I don't know what."

"You could just marry her..." Bazz mumbled.

"What?"

"Why don't you just ask her to marry you? You two have been a couple for over two years now, it could really be time to do that."

"You could be right. I've been so busy lately I haven't even had time to think about that."

"Then you should do it today. Come on, I'll help you find a ring and get everything ready."

After we were done eating, we went to get everything ready. I had a custom ring made for her, blue with silver moons and a diamond in the middle. Then Bazz suggested I propose at the top of the Lanayru tower. I knew this would all be perfect.

When she arrived home, I led her to top of the tower. She was confused, but she seemed happy. And since it was late at night, the scene was perfect. Not a cloud in the sky, stars and the moon visible.

"Sidon, are you blushing?" She asked as she cupped my faintly red cheeks.

"W-Well, yes, you're just really pretty in this light, dear. Not that your not pretty all the time, but this light just enhances it." That comment made her blush and giggle. I kissed her cheek and ran my fingers through her soft hair.

"Sweetheart, I know this is all sudden but I wanted to suprise you when you got home."

"Just being with you and that sweet smile of yours is amazing enough."

"Well, this suprise will be more than just that."

"Oh really?"

"Yes. Now, you know that I love you right _____?

"Yeah."

"And you love me?"

"Of course!"

"Enough to spend the rest of your life with me?"

"Yes of course Sidon." She giggled and I needed nothing more to convince me I was ready. I got down on one knee and pulled out the ring. _____ gasped.

"_____, I love you, more than anything. You're all I have left, darling. All I want is you. And that's all I've wanted for over a century. So, I must ask... will you marry me?" _____ burst into tears.

"Yes!! Yes of course!" She smiled as I slipped the ring on her finger and kissed her.

"You ready to be the queen?"

"As long as your my king."

We just spent the rest of the night together, telling stories and just having some bonding time. Best day ever.
