I open my eyes and a frown finds its way to my forehead. I look around teenagers talking, laughing, or drinking alcoholic liquids through plastic cups. Their waves of laugher travel in my ears along with the loud music. I gaze around and see the mansion that holds too many memories of us. The air is chilly and I wrap my hands around me. My eyes dart to my body; A pair of blue jeans and a t-shirt. My hair fly around due to the strong air. The beat and rhythm of the song make the people around me start moving along.

"Where I am?" I ask myself. I begin walking until a loud voice startles me.

"Let me go!" A scream is heard; it echoes around. I whip round to find a girl in the middle of the stairs. Her long blonde hair is falling gracefully upon her shoulders in waves. They are glittering under the light as they move due to the air. She seems upset, her body is wiggling. I look closer; her eyes are red and tears are running down her rosy cheeks.

A boy grasps her arm in an attempt to turn her around. His face feels familiar as he tries to hold her. His facial characteristics are twisted with anger though when my eyes see his; I gasp. Corbyn.

"Not fucking chance. We need to talk." Corbyn yells, not letting the girl go.

"Talk? I don't want to talk! Go find some other girl to play your sick games with!" She yells back. Her eyes are charged with pain as his are full of alarm and determination.

"It didn't mean anything, I swear. I didn't even fucking touch her!" Corbyn exclaims.

"I see a break-up coming," I hear a soft voice murmur before a few giggles reach my ears. I notice how everyone stares at them; every discussion, joke, dance, and kiss is being broken; put on hold. All the eyes are on them; watching in silence.

"Sure you didn't!" The unknown girl roars wryly. "You were in the bed with her Corbyn! She was almost naked!". A few gasps and laughs fill the empty and suffocating atmosphere until Corbyn speaks again.

"I didn't do shit! She got undressed herself!" I look around at the people who stare, down at me, and back at them.

"What is going on?" I mutter confusedly.

"Do you seriously expect to believe that?! Do you think I'm that stupid!" Her voice travels around; I feel the anxiety and confusion tear me apart. Who is she? Why is she yelling at him? Why does Corbyn chase her like that? What is happening?

"I fucking swear to you I didn't do anything!" Corbyn's voice cracks and I know his eyes are glowing; they must be troubled by his emotion like they always are.

"I don't believe you!" She wipes her tears away to hide her overwhelming pain after she hits her feet on the ground.

I tug at my hair strongly. I can't stand here watching him fighting with a girl I know nothing about.

"I don't even fucking like her! I don't want her! I WANT YOU!" Corbyn emphasizes the words and I take a sharp sudden intake of breath.

"What?" I whisper feeling my eyes prick at the sides before tears gather.

"Babe," His beg is soft and tender and my heart aches at the sound of the words. He used to call me that. My heart was beating faster every time and it surprises me to this day. Even though, I feel my soul bleed because I'm not the one he says these beautiful words to; she is.

"Don't call me that!" She yelps furiously rocking her head.

"I swear to you I didn't touch her. I don't want to. How could you possibly think that I would want something with her?"

"Because that's who you are. You play with other feelings and don't care about the consequences. You see something you like and go after it." My anxiety explodes inside of me as I solve the mystery that evolves in front of my watery eyes.

"You damn right I do!" He snaps furiously. I hear the words I once heard. I finally comprehend what is occurring and it terrifies me to the core.

"You played with me not because you want me not because you need me but because you JUST WANT TO WIN!" I say the exact same time as she does. I told these words to him the night I caught him with a girl in his lap. I was the one standing there; I was fighting with my boyfriend. I know what she is feeling cause I felt it too.

"I want you!" Corbyn shouts throwing his hands on the air.

"Oh my God," I cover my mouth with my hands. "Don't do this to me," I beg him even though he can never know.

"Don't lie to me! You don't care about me! You just wanted to prove to yourself that you can have anyone you wanted. I was just filling your ego while I was falling in love with you!!!" She shrieks. Corbyn's expression changes completely as I knew it would. He stays silent gawking at her. I remember him looking lost; utterly shaken. He had no idea what to do to fix what he broke.

"Baby," His plea makes me sob. I was supposed to be her. I was supposed to be the girl he chose, broke but loved at the same time. I was the one. However, there she is; having his whole attention.

Her lips move; I can't listen for the distance though I know what I said. What she said.

"I didn't do anything I promise. I would never do that to you...to us," He clasps his head to his hands.

"Corbyn," I mumble feeling my throat hurting. His name leaves my lips like a entreaty, a prayer. I see him blurry as my warm watery tears change him; I only see the peripheries of his figure.

"There is no us anymore."

"You don't mean that," I recall his words; the way his eyes were charged with fear and need.

"I do,"

"I didn't do anything!" Corbyn cries loudly.

"Why wouldn't you?"

"BECAUSE-" He starts roaring but he stops.

"no...no...please don't," I know the words he said. The words that are now written in my heart. The words he confessed to me so many times after that night. The words that changed everything.

"Because I love you!" He yells as I repeat them at the same time. I hide my head in my hands sealing my eyes tightly. I can't stand watching him confess his feeling to a girl that is not me. I know she looks bewildered; shock painting her face.

"I love you," He whispers again and I glance up at my Corbyn; who pours his heart out in a girl that he loves. A girl that won his heart and I know nothing about. A girl that is not me.

I walk away crying. I try to breathe but I can't focus on anything but the three words he said to her. She owns his heart now. They are together and I am nothing to him. I lost him. I lost the only boy I have ever wanted; the boy who saved me from Edward, my past, my nightmares; he saved me from myself. And I lost him.

A knock makes me stop in my tracks. I glance around only to find few couples kissing silently. There's nothing that could produce that sound. The noise is heard again and I sit up.

My eyes scan the cold and lonely room; covered in darkness. I run my hands through my hair before I cover my lips to avoid the sobs that get lost in my fingers. I remember the knock and wiping rapidly my strained cheeks; I open my door.

His eyes raise from the floor and meet mine. His lips part before a frown forms.

"Are you okay?" His voice is so gentle and tender that makes me do that only thing I shouldn't but yearn to do. I fall in his arms; binding my arms around my Corbyn.
