I know that my reads are few but I wanted to thank you for reading my story. Please comment, I'd love to know your thoughts (even if you just correct my grammar or spelling mistakes).

I hope you enjoy the following chapter as much as I loved writing it.

My first week has been efficient and most of my teachers are good. Everything is fine, almost. My first test in maths is coming up next week and I'm clueless. I don't know what I'm going to do.

"His tests are very difficult and all of his students fail miserably. I don't know what I'm going to do," Alec says. The sound of chatters and lockers are whipping around the long corridor; in the middle break.

"I want this for my college application but I don't think I'll be able to..." Corbyn appears out of nowhere and stands before me; blocking my way and interrupting Alec.

"We need to talk," He states staring at me. His eyes are vivid and sparkling. His blue ocean that hides in them; is calm without any traces of anger in them. He hasn't even acknowledged Alec standing right next to me, gaping at him; he looks astounded with his jaw on the floor. I look at Corbyn and wait for him to speak. Instead, he turns to Alec.

"Don't you have anywhere else to be?" He asks in his unique cocky way and I see annoyance surface.

After a few seconds, Alec answers.

"No, actually we..." He tries to speak but of course, he doesn't succeed to complete his sentence.

"I don't give a shit. Get the hell out of here," Corbyn retorts looking beyond annoyed and now, I'm the one gaping at him.

Alec glances at me, ashamed, and leaves. I shake my head as I continue to walk. He's so arrogant. When I reach my locker he leans in the next and peers at me smiling. His mood switches are giving me a headache.

"Hi," His head is cocked to one side and I give him my full attention because something just feels odd. He's grinning at me with that smile that makes my heart skip a beat.

"I want you to do something for me," I giggle. I take my notebook and start writing. We need to 'discuss' this remarkable and unforgettable moment. The moment that he needs me and he formed a sentence without a single curse. What day is today?

Of course, you do. What? He smiles at me.

"Jacob and I need to go somewhere tonight. His parents are fuck..." I raise my finger at him and he stops. I need to enjoy this...

Without cursing. If you say even one I won't do it. He smiles shaking his head and continues.

"His parents aren't happy with it. The last time, things happened and it got dam...really bad. Noah has agreed to fu..." There it is... "to help him cover-up" He tells instead and I giggle.

"You're enjoying this, don't you?" He asks and I nod grinning. "So, Noah is going to cover up for him but since you live there too, we need you to keep your mouth shut. Not that it's a problem. You don't use it anyway," he murmurs with a wicked smile.

My smile fades away and anger takes over. I stare at him with nothing but bewilderment and ferocity. I can't talk because my parents passed away and he's making fun of that. I look at the floor not wanting him to witness my glossy eyes. I take a paper out of my notebook and write FINE. I throw it at him and vanish without a second glance. I hate him.

My second class, it's simple torture. I can't stop thinking about the way he talked to me. He's such a jerk without any humanity or kindness in his system.

"Hello" Noah greets me as I give him a weak smile. After Corbyn, my mood kept getting worst. I just want to go home and sleep. That's all I need right now.
