Shu Xiaohui emerged from the crevice. A pair of tiny black eyes vigilantly measured the surrounding situation, and determined that the nearby semi-mechanical beast did not locate him and had moved away. Shu Xiaohui summoned up his courage to move his small furry body and ran fast in the direction of the airdrop bag. His four claws almost had after images. After sprinting for a while, his small short claw finally made contact with the airdrop bag.

Simply and neatly, he put the airdrop bag into the small space that became bigger after he transformed into an animal. The space was not big, only a small part of the space was left after the airdrop bag was placed in it.

Shu Xiaohui plunged into a gap next to it and sound of weapons from the semi-mechanical beast followed tightly behind. A large piece of gravel was blown up.

The vibration from the ground collapsed the hole that Shu Xiaohui had went in. If not for his quick-moving short claws, he’d be buried inside. Shu Xiaohui’s small heart beat fast. He followed the crackhole and drilled into the underground air-raid shelter.

This air-raid shelter was the place where most survivors from this small town which Shu Xiaohui was located at were gathered.

After diving for a while in the air raid shelter, Shu Xiaohui threw the airdrop bag into the replenishment warehouse at the intersection of the ammunition, and looked at the remaining supplies for a while. Recently, there were more and more cybernetic organisms, the firearms reserve in the air raid shelter obviously was consumed too quickly, and he didn’t know how long it would last.

Shu Xiaohui stretched his claws and rubbed his face. From the warehouse, he drilled into another warehouse in the air raid shelter.

The warehouse next to it was to store the foods. There were large variety of bulk foods, as well as a variety of packaged foods. These were strenuously obtained by the people who survived every day, and the ones responsible for this work included the former him.

Shu Xiaohui didn’t need that much, he climbed up and down, picked some dried fruits, peanuts, corn, red dates and the likes.

After placing some of the foods in his own small space, he drilled out of this warehouse.

These foods were the exchanges that he provided to the bomb shelter survivors for second hand guns dropped by the Air Forces.

It was not that he didn’t want to go out and find food himself, as the nearby supermarkets, either had been collected by survivors before, or were ruined under the collapsed buildings, and he couldn’t just manage with his small strength.

He also tried to find food in the residential building but after eating some unclean things, he was frustrated to find that his current small body couldn’t handle some of those food.

Therefore, he can only rely on getting the rarer and more difficult airdrop weapon supplies to exchange for foods that his current body could bear.

A hamster consumed very little food every day. He did not take too much from the food storage warehouse. This exchange was actually very deficient. After all, a gun in an airdrop supply was enough to equip for ten people, but a certain hamster was still insistent, even if no one supervised, he still left the airdrop guns and only took away a small amount of food.

Shu Xiaohui was very much aware of the role of weapons for the survivors in the bomb shelter.

Originally, he was also a person in the bomb shelter instead of a small hairy ball with light silver-gray black and white belly.
