Ever since she was a little girl, Mika always loved being called a brave girl.
Whether it was her parents when they put a pretty bandaid on her scraped knee and kissed her forehead;
Her teachers when they put an ice-pack on her bruised cheek, reprimanding the pre-school bullies she had picked a fight with;
Or her friends whose eyes would light up when she stood in front of them to take the blow.
Hence, when Mika finally developed her quirk at age seven, her parents and Mika herself weren't surprised that it had something to do with pain tolerance. However, what they weren't expecting was for Mika's pain to be her pleasure.
