I waited until I was out of Tyler's territory just to be fair to him. I switched my Bluetooth mobile receiver on when Tyler calls
"I'm fine"
"Are you sure? My offer will always stand, I wouldn't mind a beautiful strong Luna at my side" he says making me laugh
"Well I don't think my parents will agree with you on that one, they believed I should be with my true mate" I say
"Oh soooo that's why you ran away, you wanted someone who wasn't your true mate" he chuckles "well in my pack its whatever you fancy but too bad you have left my territory"
I laugh "Now if you don't mind, I need to place my order for food... Wait there" I turn to the intercom and place my meal order then drive to the next window
"Are you at mcdonalds?" He asks "So you are in Blood moon territory?"
I sniffed the air "Just in between yours and theirs... Too bad I can't stay here"
"No you shouldn't stay there" he says as I grab my food and eat while I continue to drive
"Well I'm not so don't worry about me Tyler I am fine ok" I hear him huff and sigh
"Ok call me when you get to Blood Moon territory... I rang Adrian and told him you were coming and we argued about why I didn't call him as soon as I knew... I still need to hear that story of how you know him"
I laugh with half my burger in my mouth "I told you another time, now I gotta focus on eating and driving I'll call you later"
"I told him to expect you in an hour or so.. You better call me"
"Ok bye!" I say pressing the end button, but first I'm getting rid of the car. I crank up the stereo. I can never resist a good beat, I pull over so I can quickly finish my food and head out on the road again.
In just over an hour, I see a black car just at the welcome sign to town. I shake my head when I see Adrian step out of his car
My phone rings and I see Tyler "Oh my gosh Tyler I'm fine! I see Adrian now" I say pulling over
"Good I was worried when he called saying he is waiting for you"
I sigh and scratch my head running my fingers through the rest of my hair that was held back by a head band. I pull my sunglasses off and watch as Adrian walks over to my window that I am not winding down
"Can you please tell him I'm fine?" I say to Adrian as he puts his head in the window kissing my cheek
"She's fine bro, don't worry so much, you don't know her like I do and I think you'd be scared out of your alpha pants" Adrian says and I take in his fair complexion, his brown eyes and raven black hair. His chiseled jaw and he smirks down at me
"She keeps telling me it's a story she will tell me next time we meet"
"If there is a next time now that I'm here with Adrian, I gotta go, got some catching up to do" when I watch Adrian close his eyes and I hang up the call
"Come on you are staying at my place before you go again" he says and walks to his car leading the way
I toot my horn to him gesturing to a used car dealership then a bike shop right next door.
I pull over and walk in the car lot
"How can I help you?" A guy walks up to me when I smell Adrian behind me. Now the story with Adrian is that his younger sister just happens to be my best friend Christi. I just thought I'd tease Tyler for a bit. Adrian smells like pine trees in a forest. I sometimes image the scent of my mate, my parents say that it's a scent that you just can't resist. Tyler smelt good too but wasn't irresistible to me, he smelt of candy. It fits because of how tempting he can be and candy is too sweet for my own liking.
