The next day, Cassie woke up, completely impatient, wanting to see the quidditch list. She knew that she was already on the team, but she didn't know what position she was going to get.

First, she had to suffer through charms and transfiguration before she could go and check the common room. She immediately ran from McGonagall's classroom down to the dungeons and met up with her younger brother. She grabbed his arm when she found him and dragged him to the common room with her. "Come on!" She complained to Regulus as he was walking to slow.

"It's okay Cassie by the time we get there he might not have even posted the list, and the list won't just disappear," Reggie tells her going even slower to annoy her.

"Yeah, but I don't want anyone to say anything before we have a chance to look at the list!" Cassie wined. She was way too excited to wait.

He rolls his eyes, "Sometimes I wonder how you're older than me. Well, you are Sirius' twin so you must get it from him." Cassie scoffed, crossing her arms. He smirked, "race you!" He booked it down the hall and she ran after him.

"Hey, that's not fair!" She told him as he beat her to the portrait as he said the password.

He shrugged, "too bad." They walked into the common room and saw Flint walking away from the announcement board. They both looked at each other before slowly walking up to the board in anticipation.

Keeper/Captain: Marcus Flint

Beaters: Vincint Crabbe

Greggory Goyle

Chasers: Densel Burke

Theodore Nott

Cassiopeia Black

Seeker: Regulus Black

Reserves: Caleb Warrington

Aries Zabini

Up behind her Burke and Nott walked up and high-fived. "Looks like we'll be the new chasers," she laughed and nodded.

"I was so nervous," Densel admitted, looking down a little.

Theodore scoffed, "dude, I was terrified, are you kidding?" All four laughed. "Hey do you guys want to hang out at the first Hogsmeade weekened?"

Regulus sighed in disappointment as he was only a second year, "Can't."

"I'd love to. I'm meeting up with my friend Izzy, but I'm sure we'll see each other," the grey-eyed girl told him.

Densel shrugged, "hey, I'd love to. I can't wait until we start practice. I have a feeling this team is going to be awesome!"

The weeks had passed by quickly as Cassie waited by in anticipation for their first game. When it was finally the morning of, breakfast was a riot. Everyone was either decked out in yellow or green, there was chanting, flags, the seventh years in particular were going absolutely wild.

Cassie and the rest of the Slytherin team moved to the locker room and got dressed in their uniforms. Cassie was 13 and her brother was number 7. Flint blew a whistle and they grouped up, everyone was practically bouncing off the walls with excitement. "Alright, you know what to do. Chasers," he gestured to the three third years. "Pick the play, I trust you, Crabbe, Goyle, make sure they don't die." The five nodded. "Regulus, focus on the snitch, reserves, be ready, anything could happen at any moment." They nodded and Flint blew his whistle again. Everyone ran and lined up for their entrance.

"Out comes Captain Flint, with beaters Crabbe and Goyle, the chasers Nott, Burke, and Black. And finally Regulus Black as their seeker. If the Blacks are as good as their brother than Hufflepuff is in big trouble." The Slytherins finished their lap around the pitch and joined the Hufflepuffs on the pitch.

"Captains Step forward." Madam Hooch commands. Flint walks forward with a smirk on his face. "Now shake hands," Flint shakes hands with Amos Diggory, his smirk widens as Amos winces with pain and tears his hand away from Flint's. "Grip your brooms," Flint walks back to the group and everyone follows her instructions. "In the air," Cassie kicks off the ground with everyone else and hovers just above Madam Hooch's head. She releases the Snitch and grabs the quaffle with her hands. "Now I want a nice CLEAN match." She blows the whistle and releases the bludgers and the beaters raise their bats.

Then she takes the quaffle and throws it up in the air. Theo, Den, and Cassie share a look and let the Hufflepuff chasers take control of the game. The chasers dive for the ball and take off down the pitch to Flint. The three Slytherins take off after them, but not going  as fast as they should be.

It was a great play for their first time-- act like they aren't good. Cassie strayed behind and the Hufflepuffs were getting cocky. They had made shot after shot, getting 60 points while Slytherin was stuck with 20.

It would've worked the best with Gryffindor, but of course, the schedule had to be changed and instead Slytherin was playing Hufflepuff first.

Cassie was watching Abbott closely, she fumbled the quaffle and Cassie decided it was time to actually start playing. She gestures to Theo and dives for the ball as Abbott drops it. She smirks as the wind blows through her hair and she catches it just before it hits the ground. She pulls up and lets the Hufflepuffs chase her.

Cassie glances down to see Den hovering below her. She subtly drops the quaffle, but keeps flying, heading directly for the stands. Right before she's about to run into the wood she pulls up and circles around to see Den making the ball into the rings.

From that point on, the Slytherins ruled the game. Theo, Den, and Cassie formed a triangle, never letting the Hufflepuffs even get close to the ball. They scored shot after shot, taunting the house of yellow. Half the stands were screaming curses at them, but the other half was going crazy with how excited they were.

They were up to 80 when Cassie heard the commentor say that both of the seekers had found the snitch. She glanced to Regulus out of the corner of her eyes before scoring another goal and getting their team another 20 points, bringing them to 100.

Regulus turned into a fake dive then pulled up, causing Diggory to crash into the sand. Cassie chuckled and passed the ball to Theo as the Hufflepuffs turned to see if their captian was alright. Regulus turns right and flies faster before holding his hand up in victory. "WOO!" Cassie screams as they all fly down to the bottom of the pitch. Crabbe and Goyle hoist Regulus on top of their shoulders and parade him around as the commentor announces Slytherin the winner.

That night the Slytherin party was not tame at all. Almost everyone got drunk. They may all be Slytherins, but they knew how to party.  Everyone was all over the quidditch players, Cassie included.  It was certainly a wild night.

~ Next couple months~

Cassie was getting really close with her teammates. It was normal. They spent so much time together at practice and had been around each other for every party so they were actually glad to be getting to know each other. Then gatherings with their families wouldn't be so boring.

They ended up winning their game against Ravenclaw but losing against Gryffindor. Stupid James catching the stupid snitch. He wasn't even supposed to be playing seeker, but their starter got hurt and they have a backup chaser, but not seeker. Plus, Reggie got hurt during potions, someone had spilled their boils potions on him, and he'd been in the hospital wing for a week. So Aries filled in for him. He's good, but not beating Potter good, nor beating Reggie good.

Something interesting that Cassie had found out was that the Marauders were trying to become animagi. While she wouldn't encourage most people to try and do it because it was difficult, she would be hypocritical since she became one last year.

While Cassie knew that her time with Remus, or technically 'Moony' as he was nicknamed by the marauders, was limited, she was happy to have had the time. How many people can say that they've literally ran around with a werewolf?
