Listening to Sejal's idea,
Sameer thought, looking at Sunaina expectantly,
"Sunaina, please keh do... tum Naina aur mujhe dono ko sath ghar dikhaogi. Please."

Naina glanced at him and saw an expectant look in his eyes. She felt bad.
"Sameer... Sunaina ke sath jaana chahta hai. Dekho aankhon mein kaisi chamak aa gayi hai iske."

Before anyone could say something, Sejal came forward and caressed Naina's cheek.
"Aao beta, mujhe bhi toh mauka mile Sunaina ke doston se ghulne milne ka."

Naina smiled awkwardly and then giving a helpless look to Sameer. She got up and went with Sejal.

Sameer pursed his lips and dejectedly lowered his head.
Sunaina smirked and said, "Chale Sameer."

He sighed and got up with a nod.

After a moment, Rahul saw Preeti alone. He took a deep breath and goes towards her.
"Hi"
He said with a small smile.

Preeti nodded with a smile. They both sat together in silence.

Suddenly, she asked, "Haa, Deepika theek hai?"

Rahul smiled sadly, "Hmm, ab theek hai. Magar uss waqt bhut darr gayi thi aur -"

"Aur usko dekh tum darr gaye the."
Preeti said with a sad smile.

He slightly nodded, "Preeti, main Deepu ki aankhon mein darr, udasi, aansu... yeh sab nahi dekh sakta."

She smiled and said, "Rahul... baccho ke sath hota rehta hai. Khel-khel mein...ho jaata hai. Jaante ho, ek baar aise hi chupan chupai khelte khelte main almirah mein chup gayi. Aur wahi soo gayi."

Rahul worriedly asked, "Phir... Tum theek-"

Preeti chuckled softly and said, "Arre nahi, kuch hua nahi mujhe. Papa aur mummy ne dhunda aur jab main mili to Mummy ne itna daanta ki kya batau? Tab se ghar ki kumbhkaran ka taaj mujhe mil gaya."

He laughed and said, "Hamare ghar mein... Sameer bhaiya hai, kumbhakaran. Par aaj kal wo bhi badal se gaye hai."

"Aur tum?", she asked looking at him with a small smile.

"Huh?"

Preeti smiled and said, "Nahi, tum apne sab pariwar walo ki baat batate ho. Tum apne baarein mein bhi kuch baat kar sakte ho."

Rahul blushed and embarrassingly said, "Mere baarein mein kuch itna hai hi nahi."

"Kyu?"

He sighed and said, "Main bilkul boring type ka hoon."

Preeti laughed softly, "Boring... mujhe toh nahi lagta. Jitna abhi tak tumko jaana hai...boring toh nahi ho."

"Tumne mujhe jaana hai? Accha toh kaisa hu main?"
Rahul asked seriously, for a moment both stared at each other.

The sudden intensity in the atmosphere, made Rahul heartbeat accelerated.
He thought,
"Pata nahi Preeti... jaisa abhi mujhe mehsus ho raha hai, waise tumhe bhi ho raha hai ki nahi. Pata nahi tum mere baarein mein kya sochti ho, Preeti?"

Preeti smiled nervously and looked away.
"Yahi ki tum... tum wo ho jo sab nahi ho sakte."

Rahul laughed softly and asked,"Kya?"

"Ek role model... tum best bhai ho... tum best student ho... tum best bete bhi ho... aur best dost bhi."
She said,counting on her fingers.

"Main itna perfect hu?" He asked with a smirk.
