The sound of slap echoes in the room.

"O bai... Ek din iss ladki ko akela kya chorr diya...iske toh parr nikal aaye. Time dekha hai...arre yeh koi waqt hai ghar aane ka...arre main kheti hu kya zarurat thi jane ki...haa yahi socha hoga...Tai ji, Tau ji bahar gaye hai...koi rokne tokne wala nahi."
Tai ji scolded Naina.

"Theek keh rahi hai tumhari Tai ji...Rakesh na tumhari zimedaari di hai hume...kuch unch neech ho jaati toh...dhayan rahe, aage se aisa kuch na ho."
Tau ji said sternly and went to his room.

Tai ji glared at Naina and followed her husband, while murmuring.
"Pata nahi kab tak iss bhoj ko jhelna padega."

Naina just stood their keeping her head low. Her one hand was on her cheek,where Tai ji had just slapped.

She slowly walked back to her room.

After closing the door, she goes towards her cupboard. She took out an antiseptic cream and a small mirror.

Naina sat down on her bed and started applying the cream on her cheek.

"Ahh...gaal toh pura lal hogaya hai."

She saw her cheek, hand prints are visible on it.

Naina couldn't control herself anymore, she started crying.
Why she? Why?

"Lo mera ghar aagya. Sameer aandar aao na... Mummy, papa se mil lo...unhe khushi hogi tumse milkar."
Sunaina said.

Sameer shooked his head.
"Nahi, Sunaina woh late ho gaya hai...next time pakka mil lunga...waise bhi school function mein mil liya tha."

She nodded and ordered her driver to drop Sameer to his home but suddenly she remembered something.

"Sameer...ek minute. Thodi derr baat kar sakte hai."

Sameer pursed his lips and was going to say 'No' when Sunaina came towards him and hold his hand.
"Itna kya soch rahe ho, Sameer? Apni dost ki ek baat toh maan sakte ho."

Naina wipes her tears and again saw her face in the mirror.
She got tensed.
"Naina kal school mein kisi ne puch liya toh kya kahegi? Tai ji bhi na...ab kya karu?"

She again applied the cream on her cheek  to lessen the stinging pain.

Naina lies down and sighed. She closes her eyes and saw Sameer's smiling face.
Automatically, her lips curled too.

She immediately got up and bought her dairy. She started writing about Sameer and her beautiful moments.
"Aaj ka din best day hi tha...bss agar Tai ji, Tau ji thoda late aate toh...unki daant nahi sunni padti. Waise, aaj ka din toh hamesha yaad rahega... Sameer ko meri smile aachi lagti hai aur usne mere liye gaana bhi gaya...hum dono ne sath mein jhule per beth kar baatein kari aur sabse aacha toh tab jab usne mera hath pakad liya tha...meri toh dhadkan hi ruk gayi thi...kaash kisi se apni khushi baant sakti...kisi ko bata sakti ki aaj kuch hi derr ke liye hi sahi magar aisa laga ki Sameer aur main ek hai...ki Sameer ke dil mein bhi meri liye feelings hai.
Kaash yeh sach hota?...magar aaj jo bhi hua woh mere uss sapne ki ek jhalak thi...kaash ki roz aisa hi din hota."

"Kya hua, Sunaina? Bata bhi do...Nanu ko ghar per tension na ho rahi ho ki mujhe itni derr kyu lag rahi hai?"
Sameer said annoyingly.
