Sumire’s POV

My ankle almost didn't hurt anymore… Sakura-san is really amazing.

"Does it still hurt, Sumire-chan?" Hinata-san smiled at me.

"Just a little…"

"We have a dinner. I'd like you to sit with us." I nodded. I sat next to Kawaki.

"Hmm, what is it, Hinata?" asked Naruto-san.

"Rice with soy sauce and pork. Also vegetable salad. You need to eat healthy."

"It smelled like ramen…" Although he said that, he immediately ate his portion. Kawaki just looked at his portion.

"If you won’t eat it, I’ll take it-ttebasa! Mom’s food is the best!" Kawaki frowned at Boruto-kun.

"It may be poisoned."

"Haah? Why would mom do that? You are really weird!"

"Boruto, stop it," said Naruto-san.

"Dad, aren’t you worried that he will hurt mom and Hima?! Did you see the bruise?!" He pointed at Hinata-san.

"I think we should talk, Boruto!" said Naruto-san. He left with Boruto-kun to other room.

"W-what happened?"

"Don’t worry about it, Sumire-chan. You too, Kawaki-kun, the bruise is nothing. I had worse injuries." She smiled. Is really all right that she’s used to it?

"I’m sorry…" said Kawaki.

"Huh?"

"I’m sorry about that bruise. I was scared…" She smiled.

"That’s understandable. I would probably do the same thing in your position." She’s so nice. Even her husband. Then Kawaki finally tasted his food. Me too.

"It’s… it’s so good!" said Kawaki and ate it quickly.

"You are right, it’s really good! I've never eaten anything so good!" I said. She smiled at us.

"I’m glad about it."

"Sumire-chan, can I braid your hair?" asked Himawari-chan.

"Of course." I smiled. My hair is loose, so it will come in handy. She was happy about my answer.

"Let’s go to my room!" said Himawari-chan.

"I want to show it to you!" She smiled. She’s as nice as her mother. And she’s really cute. I nodded. Then she dragged me to her room.

Boruto’s POV

"What is it, dad?" I asked coldly.

"Boruto, Kawaki is our guest. Try to understand it."

"But dad, he hurt mom?! I’m worried about Hima too!"

"That’s understandable, but Kawaki is not a bad guy. He has a dark past and he doesn't trust anyone. Your mom was a spy. That’s the main reason why he attacked her."

"How can you even allow this?! How can you allow mom to do something so dangerous?! Don’t you love her?!" I changed the theme. This has bothered me for a long time. He smirked.

"Your mother and I studied together to achieve our goals. We both had the same dream. Or rather similar. I wanted to be the head of the FBI. I kept talking about it. Your mother wanted to be my support. If I didn't let her work, I would ruin her dream for which she had been working for so long. I try not to send her on dangerous missions. That's why I chose this mission for her. Believe me, Boruto, I really love your mother. Ever since high school. I will never forget the day I first saw her." I-I see. That’s how it is.
