Chapter 10: Friends or enemies?

Kawaki's POV

We are back, but I'm really confused. What happened to Boruto's... I mean our family? And what happened to Sumire? I'm trying to be calm, but it's really hard. Suddenly Naruto came back. Kurama was pretty tired.

"I'm done with you, Naruto. I'm retiring."

"Kurama... you can't do this to me! Not now!"

"Uhh, fine. I'm sure you'll retire sooner than me anyway. Itachi or Sasuke would beat you in this."

"Kurama, I'm not in the mood right now, so shut up-ttebayo!"

"You are no fun at all. You were funnier at the academy."

"Maybe because I'm adult, don't you think?"

"You are? I didn't even notice."

"You!!" I had to laugh... Wait, I'm laughing? That didn't happen to me in a while.

"Hahahah!!! Kurama got you, Dad!" And Boruto too? His attitude was worse than mine few hours ago.

"Boruto! You are laughing? What happened?!"

"Huh? What should happen? And why are we even here? I don't even remember what I had done-ttebasa..."

"So you are back, Boruto?!"

"I was gone?!"

"Yeah, your mind was pretty f*cked up because of Eida," I said.

"Eida?? That's who?" That doesn't matter, but how? You didn't even kiss anyone..." said Naruto.

"Who should I kiss? I don't get it."

"I guess the love potion wasn't that effective after all. Otherwise it would effect even Kawaki. It wouldn't matter if he was in love. It would still effect him a little..."

"In love? What are you saying? I wouldn't be such a softie to fall in love."

"Heh, you remind me of Sasuke. He also didn't want to admit his love for Sakura. But that doesn't matter now. Boruto, Kawaki, I'm going away. And you can't go with me. It's dangerous. I won't make the same mistake again-ttebayo." He was looking for someone.

"Ino, Sai! Don't go yet!"

"Huh? We just wanted to go home... Inojin must be lonely."

"You can go, but can you take care of Kawaki and Boruto? It would be dangerous to let them be in our house alone." Ino smirked.

"All right, Naruto, but you'll take care of Inojin next week for that. We just wanted to go on a vacation with Sai. Alone. For no reason." Yeah, but she blushed.

"So you are saying I'll lost my best lawyer and detective for a week?! Ughh, all right. Himawari likes to draw too, so I'm sure they'll get along. Not so sure about Boruto and Kawaki."

"That's fine, all right, Boruto, Kawaki, let's go!"

"Wait!" I yelled.

"Huh? What is it, Kawaki?"

"Save Sumire, promise me this." He smiled.

"I'll save her and I never go back on my words. Count on me!" I trust him.

"Fine," I said and left with Boruto, Ino and Sai. But I don't know about Inojin. He's one annoying brat.

Sarada's POV

I waited for Shikadai in one restaurant. Where is he? He invited me, so he shouldn't be late. He has no manners at all...

"Hey Sarada, sorry about my late coming. My dad called me about Boruto..."

"Boruto?"

"So you still care. They are back. But Boruto's family is in danger, so he'll stay with Inojin's family."
